Katy Perry and Taylor Swift aren't teaming up anytime soon. During an interview with Hits Radio Breakfast, Perry shot down fan speculation that she and Swift are teaming up on her new album. Fans started thinking that a song between the women was in the works after Perry announced her new track, "Daisies," and Swift posted a pic of her wearing a shirt covered with flowers. "Not as yet. No, I mean, it’s, it’s, the fans are so fun, I mean, they do search far and wide for Easter eggs and we do put them in our visuals and in lyric videos and music videos, in content that we create," Perry said. "But, not everything is an Easter egg." Though a collab isn't in the works just yet, Perry seemed open to teaming up with Swift in the future. "The fans are definitely excited for something like that to happen in the future and I’m always open," she said of working with Swift, with whom she previously had a feud. In addition to her music, Perry is focused on becoming a mom, as she is pregnant with her and fiancé Orlando Bloom's first child together. "What’s in the cards is becoming a mother and I’ve always wanted to be that. I didn’t know if I could be that, or if I’d have the capacity," Perry said. "My sister is the most maternal one in my family and I’m, I am a logistics strategiser, you know, show off, and I didn’t have the maternal gene. So I’ve had to, like, really learn how to have that and so, becoming a mother will be, first and foremost."

You need to calm down! Too many rumors about Katy Perry collaborating with Taylor Swift bloomed online, and she finally put them to bed today (May 15) in a new interview.
While talking to Hits Radio Breakfast about her new single "Daisies" that arrived today, Perry confirmed Swift would not be featured on her upcoming fifth studio album nicknamed KP5.
"No, it's not correct. But the fans are definitely excited for something like that to happen in the future and I'm always open," she said. "The fans are so fun. They do search far and wide for Easter eggs, and we do put them in our visuals and lyric videos and music videos and content that we create. But not everything is an Easter egg! A lot of things are just flowers!"
But here's something that cropped up in the interview that fans might not have expected: Perry and Adele are next-door neighbors. "We live very close to each other, so close that... and we're friendly and we've known each other for a long time," the "Daisies" singer revealed. "I haven't seen her in person since she's been transforming herself because pre-quarantine, I was busy, she was busy, she's making a record, I'm making a record and touring.... But I remember sometime last year, she just knocks on my door and comes in, I'm in my robe. It's fun! She's great, she's very real."
She continued telling the story of Adele's unexpected, friendly visit: "The funny thing is, I've known her for a while, right? And I think a gal that was working for me at the time answered the door and she was like, 'Adele is here.' And I was still like sleeping, it was 11 o'clock or something like that. And I was like, 'Okay, I'll just get in my robe.' And we just had a chat and a cuppa."
As Perry waits on her neighbor's next record and Rihanna's R9 that she masterfully trolls upset fans about, the mother-to-be remains patient for the arrival of her first baby with fiancé Orlando Bloom. But their unborn daughter already proved she's bad to the bone by throwing up a middle finger during her sonogram.

KATY Perry has been pictured handing a $20 bill to a homeless man amid the coronavirus pandemic. The pregnant pop star was picking up a fast-food lunch order when she spotted the man, who held a sign which simply read: "Anything helps." Katy, wearing a protective face mask, leaned out of her car window to hand over the money. She gave the man a thumbs up before driving off. Wearing a mixed-print maxi dress paired with sliders and a turban, Katy looked casual and kept warm with a large throw jacket as she stepped out of the car to pick up the order from her local McDonalds.
