Imperial Triumphant will release their likely terrifying new album Alphaville on July 31. You can stream the extremely dissonant debut single "Rotted Futures" below, which I suggest turning all the way up. Might as well disturb the neighbors, right? Among the guests found on Alphaville are Meshuggah drummer Tomas Haake on taiko drums and Phlegeton (Wormed, Altarage) on vocals. Alphaville was recorded with Colin Marston (Gorguts, Krallice, Dysrhythmia), and you can pre-order the record here. Tomas Haake (Meshuggah) – Taiko drums Phlegeton (Wormed, Altarage) – Vocals Yoshiko Ohara (ex-Bloody ) – Choirs RK Halvorson – Barbershop quartet Sarai Chrzanowski – Choirs Andromeda Anarchia (Folterkammer, Dark Matters) – Choirs J Walter Hawke – Trombone Colin Marston – Guitars “No one knows what the future shall look like. Well, some might know the shape of things to come. Some will bet on it. Perhaps we’re living it. Perhaps it will be quite different. If we had a special looking glass that could reveal millennia of repeated timelines we might observe big dreams for a bright future, built upon systemic shifts that eventually fall. Behold the future.”
