Last May, Lily Allen called Miley Cyrus a "fearless bitch" during her first New York performance in five years; less than three months later, the British singer will join Cyrus' Bangerz tour as the opening act on a select number of dates. Before she hits the road with Cyrus on Aug. 1, Allen tells Billboard that she couldn't be happier to join such a stellar arena spectacle. "I saw it at the O2 in London [in May], and I'm not exaggerating when I say it's one of the best shows that I've seen in years," says Allen. "It's up there with an Oasis show or the Stone Roses or something. It's kind of incredible to watch -- she's a real force. There's no two ways about it, she's meant to be up there doing that." Allen adds that the Bangerz tour stage production is impressive, but even without the bells and whistles, the "Wrecking Ball" star would be able to pull off an unforgettable pop experience. "She's incredible, and she has such a presence," she says of Cyrus. "Her personality is what shines through. I'm not close to Miley, I don't know her very well, but I feel proud of her." Prior to this year's Sheezus album, Allen spent five years away from the studio, a gap that allowed the U.K. star to focus on her family but made it all the more difficult to leap back into mainstream music. Allen says that she also recognizes and appreciates the metamorphosis that Cyrus has had to undergo, following her days as a wholesome teen star. "It must have been very tough for her to make that transition from the Disney star of 'Hannah Montana' into herself, essentially," says Allen. "People don't really like change in this day and age, and not only has she succeeded in changing her complete persona, but she's done it in an in-your-face way, which I love. I'm all for that kind of stuff." Following Allen's stint on the Bangerz tour, the singer-songwriter will perform at a string of summer festivals overseas before beginning her own U.S. headlining tour on Sept. 9 in Miami. "I've been on tour [overseas] for about six months," says Allen, "and not only am I excited to be a part of Miley's tour, I'm also excited to only play for half an hour. I'm done by 7:00 o'clock. I can go to dinner!" Check out Lily Allen's dates on Miley Cyrus' Bangerz tour below: Aug. 1: Uniondale, N.Y. (Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum) Aug. 2: Philadelphia, Pa. Lily Allen made sure that stuck out while supporting Miley Cyrus – by wearing a skin-heavy ensemble of her very own. The singer is supporting Miss Cyrus on several dates of her North American tour, and invested in some stage outfits that wouldn't be out of place in Miley's wardrobe. Lily showed that she's still down with the kids – well, down with twerkaholic Miley at least – by exposing a blush-inducing river of flesh in a plunging silver catsuit. The space-age onesie could have been cute and quirky had it remained zipped, but that would have been way too demure for a Bangerz show. So what did Lily do? Unzip it to her belly-button, of course. The Sheezus singer showed off a great deal of cleavage as she gyrated on stage in New York. With her dark tresses dyed bright pink, the 29-year-old certainly stood out, but very nearly suffered numerous wardrobe malfunctions as she went braless beneath her retro jumpsuit. For once, it seemed like the queen of controversy Miley had been outdone by her senior. The Wrecking Ball singer emerged on stage wearing a baggy onesie teamed with spangly boots – comfy, but not exactly fashion-forward. Don't worry though, Miley hasn't hung up her pelvis-baring leotards just yet – she soon lay on the stage to wriggle out of her onesie and present her barely-there costume to the audience.

She gave concert–goers in New York a little more than they bargained for when she opened Miley Cyrus’ Bangerz tour on Friday evening and accidentally revealed her nipple. So on Saturday Lily Allen took a little more care when getting dressed and in order to avoid any further wardrobe malfunctions, wore a jumper. Taking to stage ahead of Miley at the the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, the 29-year-old delighted fans as she paid tribute to the USA with her attire. The previous evening Lily dared to bare in a skintight silver jumpsuit which was unzipped to just above her navel, while performing at Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York on Friday. Lily's sexy space-age outfit showed off her slender figure and plunging cleavage as she took to the stage. She had her usually dark locks dyed pink with blunt bangs, dark eye makeup accented with silver glitter eyeliner and a slick of pink lipstick. While it's unclear if the British singer twerked, she did strut, sway her hips and move her backside to the beat. This was Lily's first night on Miley's tour and she couldn't be more excited to be there. 'I saw it at the O2 in London [in May], and I'm not exaggerating when I say it's one of the best shows that I've seen in years,' she told Billboard. 'It's kind of incredible to watch -- she's a real force.' 'She's incredible, and she has such a presence,' she said of Cyrus. 'Her personality is what shines through. I'm not close to Miley, I don't know her very well, but I feel proud of her.' Another thing Lily appreciates is how the Wrecking Ball singer has transformed her image in the last couple of years. 'It must have been very tough for her to make that transition from the Disney star of Hannah Montana into herself, essentially,' said Allen. Lily, who clutched her phone the whole time, reached out to greet her fans

The star looked like she was having a great time dancing around the stage in a skin-tight blue metallic dress. But as she lifted her foot as part of a rather strenuous dance move, the star flashed her knickers to the crowd. Thankfully it appeared the singer had pre-planned for such an event and wore special blue sequinned undies, matching with her dress. While Lily's pants were the talk of the town, it seems the rest of her outfit was designed to draw the attention away from her pants. The star wore a skin-tight dress with a huge sequinned jumper over the top. In a multi-coloured rainbow pattern, Lily looked eclectic and perfectly in-synch to support the ever-popular Miley Cyrus. Lily recently spoke out about being back from a career break, which was something she never planned. Talking to Australia's Today Show, she said: "I had no intention of coming back when I did take the time out. I just thought I'm going to be such a great mum. I'm going to be puréeing vegetables all of the time and being really patient and building Lego. "I was yearning for something and I didn't know what it was and it wasn't until my husband said, 'Maybe you need to write again! You need to have that form of expression. 'I tried it and it actually worked. It made me feel better. I thought maybe it would start manifesting itself in potato painting or something." Mother-of-two star Lily added: "As much as I love spending time with my children I haven't got the concentration span for that kind of thing." The star is currently touring to promote her new album Sheezus, which includes an ode to her husband Sam called As Long As I Got You.

The British singer led the release of her latest album, “Sheezus,” with a cheeky single about misogyny and objectification titled “Hard Out Here (for a Bitch).” Even cheekier is the video, which features a cadre of dancers with, um, ample assets twerking like — well, like those dancers employed by Miley Cyrus, the headliner of the show that brings Allen to Scottrade Center on Sunday night. Allen emphatically says her video was not a shot at Miley. “It’s a parody about the way women are used in music videos. Not how women present themselves, but how they’re represented by men. “I guess in a way I’m sort of playing a man in that video,” she adds with a laugh. “I’m playing a man in a video where they would use women in that way. But it bears no resemblance to Miley. Her head is screwed firmly on her shoulders and she’s doing what she wants to, not because someone else is telling her to.” Allen also exhibits a tough exterior elsewhere on “Sheezus,” naming the names of her pop-music competition — Rihanna, Katy Perry, Beyoncé and Lady Gaga among them — and crowing “Second best will never cut it for the divas/Give me that crown, bitch/I wanna be Sheezus.” “I’ve always written about pop culture, society and people and relationships,” she says. “We live in an age where celebrities play such a big role in our lives, so it seemed wrong to write songs about that and not name names. It’s not so much about me trying to garner attention; it’s more about society and what kids are talking about.” @mileycyrus tonight with @lilyallen #bangerztour “Sheezus” marks the end of a long musical hiatus for Allen, whose previous effort, “It’s Not Me, It’s You,” appeared in 2009. In the interim, Allen took time off to get married and start a family. She has two children, Ethel and Marnie. Eventually, though, the desire to make music pulled her back in. “I quit the business and bought a house in the countryside,” she says. “That was an area of my life that I wanted to concentrate on. But I felt like there was something missing, which was writing songs and doing gigs. I’m not very good at making plans and sticking to them.” Allen’s latest single, “As Long as I Got You,” shows the singer’s sweeter side. The song’s video was filmed at this year’s Glastonbury Festival, where, five years ago, Allen met her husband, Sam Cooper, a builder and decorator. Having returned to recording and touring, Allen is able to explore both her artistic and domestic sides. “Now I have my family and my job,” she says. “I couldn’t be happier.”
