Dot-Marie Jones shed tears while sharing what she'll miss most about late "Glee" co-star Naya Rivera.
The actress joined Thursday's "The Talk" and paid an emotional tribute to Naya with a fond recollection of her best qualities and the legacy she'll leave behind. Dot-Marie revealed she was on a group text with other "Glee" castmates as they planned to visit Lake Piru, where Naya sadly drowned on July 8.
While some of the "Glee" family, including Heather Morris, gathered at the shore the day Naya's body was retrieved from the water, Dot explained that she took a solo trip there on her own the previous night to make sure she paid her respects in time.

Naya Rivera's ex-fiance, Big Sean, has been silent about her tragic death ... until now. Sean posted a tribute to his ex, saying, "Rest in Peace Naya, God Bless your Soul! Thank you for blessing us all with your talent and presence. You are a hero! Not just because of how you saved your son, also because of the barriers you knocked down for so many people to make them feel confident in themselves and to stand tall and be proud when they couldn't achieve that on their own." He goes on ... "I appreciate and cherish everything that ever happened between us for making me wiser and a better person. I'm still grieving and in shock, I can't believe this is real." As you probably know, Naya and Sean were engaged in 2013 after dating for only 6 months. They had a bad breakup 5 months later. Naya says the end of the relationship was hurtful ... "We'd been fighting for five straight days while he was traveling, and then on the one day he was back in LA, he said he didn't want to see me." TMZ broke the story ... the "Glee" star's body was recovered from Lake Piru Monday. She was swimming with her son when she vanished. Her body was entangled in the Lake's debris and was recovered several days later.

Actress Naya Rivera was reportedly laid to rest last week after tragically passing away after drowning in early July while visiting Lake Piru in California.
Rivera's death certificate, which was obtained by People and The Blast, said that the former "Glee" star died within a "manner of minutes," People reported.
The death certificate also noted that her death was not contributed to any other significant factors.
After her body was recovered on July 13, the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office conducted an autopsy, which revealed that Rivera accidentally drowned during a boat trip with her 4-year-old son.
CNN reported that Naya was laid to rest on July 24 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles.
Deadline said that Naya's last TV appearance will be in season 3 of Netflix's baking competition show "Sugar Rush," which would be released Friday.
