Jessica Alba may have not been able to look the cast of Beverly Hills, 90210, in the eye, but Paige Moss had no trouble making eye contact with Jennie Garth during her season six stint. http://instagram.com/p/CG-REvaFD3a Everything Famous 'Beverly Hills, 90210' Guest Stars Have Said Over the Years Garth, 48, recently reunited with Moss, who played Kelly’s “stalker” Tara on the ‘90s drama, for an episode of the “Beverly Hills, 90210 Show” podcast. During their chat, Moss, 47, revealed there were specific rules about filming the 1996 episode in which Tara pulled a gun on Kelly. “At that time you couldn’t put the gun directly at Kelly. So I had to hold it straight up. I remember having to figure out, like, what am I going to do with this gun if I can’t point it,” Moss recalled. “Those were the rules.” http://instagram.com/p/CGvGm_5lalJ Garth replied with a jab at Alba, 39, who claimed earlier this month that she was told she wasn’t “allowed to make eye contact with any one of the cast members” or she’d “be thrown off the set” when she guest-starred on season 8 of 90210. “Apparently you can’t point a gun at anyone or look at anyone in the eye,” Garth quipped on the Wednesday, October 28, episode of the “Beverly Hills, 90210 Show” podcast. Moss, host Pete Ferrier and Beverly Hills, 90210 producers and writers Jessica Klein and Larry Mollin all laughed at Garth’s remark. The What I Like About You actress previously addressed Alba’s claims during a trailer for her upcoming podcast, “9021OMG,” with her former costar Tori Spelling. “I had all the scenes with her. If anybody didn’t want to have their eyes looked into, it would’ve been me, but I don’t remember ‘cause I have the world’s worst memory,” Garth told Spelling, who wondered if producers on the Fox drama sent out a “cool memo” without the cast’s knowledge. Garth added, “From the vague memories I have of working with her, I only remember her being super talented. She was very young, and she was really sweet. It does not surprise me that she’s gone on to be so successful.”

Beverly Hills, 90210 alums Jason Priestly, Ian Ziering, Brian Austin Green and Christine Elise have all denied Alba’s accusation. Joel Feigenbaum, who directed Alba during her season 8 episodes, suggested an assistant director or someone behind-the-scenes may have been joking with the Fantastic Four actress.
Elsewhere during Wednesday’s “Beverly Hills, 90210 Show” podcast, Garth poked fun at Kelly’s over-the-top story lines.
'90210' Stars Deny Jessica Alba’s No Eye Contact Claim “I remember thinking that was absurd that Kelly was going to have a stalker,” Garth said. “When did I get a stalker? Before or after I was in the cult?”
Mollin reminded Garth that Kelly met Tara in rehab for her cocaine addiction.
“It was so good. I was watching it today and I was like, ‘This is really good TV.’ Look at those two cute blondes,” she said before accidentally calling Moss by her character’s name. “Was that a wig, Tara? Or Paige!”
All 10 seasons of Beverly Hills, 90210, are currently streaming on Hulu.

Joel Feigenbaum — who directed one of the season 8 episodes of Beverly Hills, 90210 that featured Jessica Alba as a guest star — says that if the actress was told to avoid eye contact with the cast, he was unaware of it. Speaking on the Beverly Hills: 90210 podcast this week, Feigenbaum said that while he "certainly was never aware" of Alba, 39, being told not to make eye contact with the show's stars, he doesn't "doubt that she heard that somehow." "I had not," Feigenbaum said when asked if he had heard Alba's rule about avoiding eye contact with the cast. "But, I'm not saying — it's very possible somebody could have said that to her, either seriously or not. I can't imagine who it would've been. Certainly wasn't one of the cast. And I can't imagine — the only other people it might've been, an AD or maybe someone in the makeup and hair trailer." Alba said on the Hot Ones web series earlier this month that she "couldn’t even make eye contact with any of the cast members" on the set of the popular show. “Yeah, it was like, ‘You’re not allowed to make eye contact with any one of the cast members or you’ll be thrown off the set.' " Feigenbaum said that while he didn't know someone had told her that, he doesn't disbelieve the actress. "I don't doubt that she heard that somehow, but I certainly was never aware of it," he continued on the podcast. "Certainly never saw that on the set, anyway." "I don't doubt that somebody said that to Jessica if she says somebody said that to her, but you can look at the scenes, and she was just terrific in them," said Feigenbaum, who directed the episode titled "Making Amends." Alba also appeared on the following episode titled "The Nature of Nurture." "Totally not aware of it ... to my knowledge, that certainly wasn't a rule on the set by any means," the director added. "All of the regular cast was extremely friendly and really open to the guest stars." http://instagram.com/p/CG78B4TFWXA

Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth haven’t heard from Jessica Alba since her claims about the cast of Beverly Hills, 90210 made headlines — but the former costars invited the actress to join their “9021OMG” rewatch podcast during an exclusive interview with Us Weekly. 'Beverly Hills, 90210' Stars Deny Jessica Alba’s No Eye Contact Claim “I have been friendly with her at, like, events and stuff over the years. She’s super great. I don’t know what happened with that whole thing,” the 47-year-old True Tori alum told Us during a joint interview with Garth, 48, on Thursday, November 5. “But, you know, we kind of joked and it was kind of everywhere that I was like, heartbroken that she said that because her Honest Wipes are what I use on my babies’ butt daily. They’re my favorite ones. And at this point, like, I was kind of bummed that I didn’t get sent any free wipes. I’m just saying. I’m happy to support them, her company, and keep buying them.” Alba, 39, made headlines last month when she claimed she couldn’t “make eye contact” with any of the actors during her two-episode arc on 90210 in 1998. “It was like, ‘You’re not allowed to make eye contact with any one of the cast members or you’ll be thrown off the set,’” Alba claimed on Hot Ones. Garth, who noted she doesn’t know Alba well, said she and Spelling “have” to have the Dark Angel star on their podcast, which debuts on Monday, November 9. Everything Famous ’Beverly Hills, 90210' Guest Stars Have Said Over the Years “Oh my God, yeah. Because I want to like go through her memory of how it all played out. Because I’m curious!” Spelling told Us. “I’m sure there’s a valid story there. We don’t believe it’s something she made up. She was a young girl. And probably someone in passing said this to her, which is heartbreaking to us. So, we would love to talk to her about it.” Garth and Spelling, who played Kelly Taylor and Donna Martin on Beverly Hills, 90210, respectively, for all 10 seasons, told Us that there’s an open invite to the show’s guest stars to appear on “9021OMG.”

Shannen Doherty continues to have the support of her Beverly Hills, 90210 family. As the actress continues to battle stage 4 breast cancer, co-stars Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling are shedding some light on her health journey. "I just check in on her once in a while and I definitely follow along on her stories to see and check in and see how she is," Jennie exclusively shared with E! News. "She keeps a really tight circle of very close people and I think that's the way to do it." "She seems to be really doing well and thriving, and helping a lot of people through the process," the actress continued. "We're really here for her always and always cheering for her and really proud of what she's doing." Tori, who also worked with Shannen on the hit ‘90s drama, echoed her close friend's sentiments. "I check in with her too and you kind of have to give someone their space," Tori explained. "And she knows we're here if she needs us or even just to have a good laugh." Shannen was first diagnosed with cancer in 2015 and underwent surgeries, chemotherapy and radiation. While she later went into remission, the 49-year-old confirmed in February 2020 that her cancer returned. In an interview with Good Morning America, Shannen said she didn't tell many of her co-stars about her health when she returned to work for the BH90210 reboot. "I thought, when I finally do come out, I will have worked and worked 16 hours a day and people can look at that and say, 'Oh my God. Yeah, she can work and other people with stage four can work, too.' Our life doesn't end the minute we get that diagnosis," she shared. "We still have some living to do." As Tori and Jennie send their best wishes to their co-star, the pair is also gearing up the premiere of their new iHeartRadio podcast titled 9021OMG. Scheduled to premiere on Monday, Nov. 9, the podcast is designed to be a "follow show" where old and new fans can look back on the iconic series.
