Ariana Grande is getting scientific for her next music video. The 27-year-old pop star took to social media on Saturday (Nov. 14) to tease a snippet from the upcoming music video for her sensual jam "34+35." Set in a high-tech laboratory, Grande wears a long white lab coat with matching stiletto boots while nervously walking and taking notes on a clipboard. She then approaches a large piece of machinery and slams her hand onto a round button. http://instagram.com/p/CHlF-ZclnjF Ariana Grande & Thundercat Deliver Surprise Performance of 'Them Changes' at Adult Swim Festival "Ariana Grande '34+35,'" reads a message at the closing. Ariana Grande's latest album Positions stays firmly planted atop the Billboard 200 for a second consecutive week. Positions earned 82,000 units, of which 73,000 consisted of SEA units, which equaled 99.5 million on-demand streams. It’s now her second album to spend two weeks at No. 1, joining Thank U Next. With 57,000 equivalent album units, Pop Smoke's Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon edges out F*ck Love by The Kid Laroi for No. 2. Following the release of a deluxe version featuring seven new songs, F*ck Love pulled in 52,000 units and experienced a meteoric rise up the chart, from No. 81 to No. 3. After his fatal shooting last week, King Von's Welcome to O’Block moved into the top 10, specifically No. 5. http://instagram.com/p/CHnkLS-lmLE Quando Rondo, the rapper who got into a physical altercation with King Von the day he was shot and killed, claims he was acting in self-defense and said he was aggressively approached by Von. The two got into a fistfight, which later ended in gunfire. Timothy Leeks, a member of Quando's crew, has been charged with felony murder. http://instagram.com/p/CHjnAepFGIl Nav and Wheezy's new album, Emergency Tsunami, debuted at No. 6 with 42,000 equivalent album units. Ariana Grande will deliver the official music video for "34+35" in T-minus 23 hours.
She announced that the visual will be released Tuesday, Nov. 17, at 9 a.m. PT on Twitter while noting Director X will be helming it. Grande posted the teaser trailer for the "34+35" music video over the weekend, which shows the 27-year-old pop superstar frantically working in a high-tech laboratory before she slams on a big red button.
In an interview with the Zach Sang Show, she talked about her "fear" with the track in the context of the entire LP. "The thing about this song that has been my fear since the beginning is that it would distract from the vulnerability and sweetness that is the rest of the album," Grande said. "It's very loving, it's very honest, it's very much a reflection of parts of my life."

Ariana Grande - 34+35 (official video) The official “34+35” music video by Ariana Grande. Listen & download Positions (the album) here: arianagrande.lnk.to/positionsAriana Grande might be one of the only people I know of who *actually* wore jeans during quarantine. While the rest of us were shifting our wardrobes to a sweats-only type of aesthetic, Ari stayed serving us style inspiration the whole entire year. Just this week, in fact, the pop star served up yet another stunning look – a new variation of her favorite ensemble. She went pantsless (same), wearing nothing but an oversized hoodie (also, same) and lace-up over-the-knee boots. The look was a vibe in itself, but then she popped on some sickening accessories I'm trying to copy ASAP. Leveling up the look several notches, Ari finished with a plain black mask, XL sunglasses, and a $2.6k mini backpack from Louis Vuitton. Do you hear that?! Yep, it's the sound of me screenshotting to copy this later.

Ariana Grande’s music videos are always about a dramatic fashion transformation. Her last video for Positions was a fashionable ode to women in politics, and in the past, she’s also turned into Mean Girls’s Regina George, or dressed like Lady Gaga, dripping in latex. This week, however, the singer is back with a brand new music video for her song 34+35, released today—and her new style metamorphosis sees her turn into various cyborgs. But she’s not any ol’ robot. She’s a chic robot. The new video sees Grande play the part of a scientist in a high-tech lab (complete with a white lab coat and sky-high white platforms to match, of course). She’s faced with an array of Grande cyborgs, wearing a different look. One is in a vintage nude Oscar de la Renta bodysuit with below-the-knee Fendi boots to match; another is a classic silver robot, only Grande’s armor has a built-in metal bustier and skirt. The pièce de résistance, however, is at the end of the video, when the singer transforms into an Austin Powers-inspired Fembot. You know the one—the deadly robot with an alluring marabou-trimmed slip dress, which seduces men into submission. Her Fembot fit was true to the original film, complete with lilac gloves and even platform heels to match—don’t forget the bouffant hair, either!
