Over the past 18 months, Taylor Swift has been more prolific than pretty much any other pop star. In August of 2019, she released Lover, which she followed in 2020 with a pair of companion albums, Folklore and Evermore. Now, at the top of 2021, she has returned with even more new music: Today, she released her deluxe edition of Evermore, which was previously only available in physical formats, on streaming platforms. This means that two songs are now available online for the first time: “Right Where You Left Me” and “It’s Time To Go.” On the former, Swift sings about an ill-fated relationship that left her dwelling on the past, singing, “Help, I’m still at the restaurant / Still sitting in a corner I haunt / Cross-legged in the dim light / They say, ‘What a sad sight’ / I, I stayed there / Dust collected on my pinned-up hair.” On “It’s Time To Go,” there are also some thinly veiled lyrics that are more than likely about Swift’s feud with Scooter Braun and Big Machine, as she sings, “Fifteen years, fifteen million tears / Begging ’til my knees bled / I gave it my all, he gave me nothing at all / Then wondered why I left / Now he sits on his throne in his palace of bones / Praying to his greed / He’s got my past frozen behind glass / But I’ve got me.” Listen to “It’s Time To Go” and “Right Where You Left Me” above and check out our review of Evermore here. On Thursday, Jan. 7, the 31-year-old Grammy winner surprised fans when she released two new evermore songs on the deluxe version of the album. As you likely could have guessed, loyal followers immediately began listening to the new tunes. And according to some, one track may just be about Karlie Kloss, 28. In "It's Time to Go," fans raised eyebrows when they heard the lyrics: "When the words of a sister, come back in whispers, that prove she was not, in fact, what she seemed. Not a twin from your dreams, she's a crook who was caught." Some on social media were quick to speculate that the words are in reference to Karlie. Both stars, however, haven't commented on the theories. For the past couple of years, fans have speculated that Taylor and Karlie's friendship isn't as strong as it once was. For starters, Karlie was not featured in the singer's "Look What You Made Me Do" music video. In addition, Taylor did not attend the supermodel's October 2018 wedding to Joshua Kusher. Fans later realized she was performing on the other side of the world thanks to her reputation tour. But in March 2019, Karlie set the record straight and made it clear that there's no bad blood with the music superstar. "Taylor's incredible and I feel really lucky to call her a friend," she shared on Watch What Happens Live. "She's one of the hardest-working women." However, fans began to speculate about their friendship once again when T.Swift was absent from Karlie's star-studded wedding celebration in June 2019. Guests at the second bash, held in Wyoming, included Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom and Taylor's music rival, Scooter Braun. Now, fans are buzzing over these new song lyrics, which appear to reference a falling out. While the celebs have not shared the current status of their friendship, it won't stop fans from speculating about Taylor's latest bonus tracks that also include a song called "Right Where You Left Me."

After Taylor Swift dropped her latest album, 'evermore', a lot of fans believed it was based on Emily Dickinson, as she not only named it after one of Emily's most famous poems, but also announced it on Emily's birthday.
As a good friend of Taylor's, Hailee Steinfeld - who plays Emily in the series Dickinson - found out the possibility that 'evermore' could actually be based on her.
The actress also spoke about her time working on the comedy, as well as what to expect from her upcoming Marvel series, Hawkeye.

No drama here! Taylor Swift shut down speculation she’s singing about Karlie Kloss in her new Evermore bonus tracks released on Thursday, January 7. The Pennsylvania native, 31, explained the meaning behind “Right Where You Left Me” and “It’s Time to Go” in a Friday Instagram post. “The evermore deluxe album with 2 bonus tracks ‘right where you left me’ and ‘it’s time to go’ is now available!” Swift wrote. “The first is a song about a girl who stayed forever in the exact spot where her heart was broken, completely frozen in time. ‘it’s time to go’ is about listening to your gut when it tells you to leave. How you always know before you know, you know?” Following the songs’ release, speculation was rife among Swifties that “It’s Time to Go” was about Kloss, 28. The song features lyrics like, “When the words of a sister come back in whispers / That prove she was not in fact what she seemed / Not a twin from your dreams.” Swift’s other bonus track, “Right Where You Left Me,” also features a line that left fans buzzing: “Friends break up, friends get married.” “TAYLOR DRAGGING KARLIE?? We love to see it,” one fan tweeted, adding a screenshot of the lyrics.

Taylor Swift had a surprise for fans Wednesday. The singer dropped the lyric videos for “Right Where You Left Me” and “It’s Time to Go” as the deluxe edition of her Evermore album became available to stream. Lyrics to “Right Where You Left Me” include, “Right where you left me/ You left me no, you left me no/ You left me no choice but to stay here forever.” Swift then sings on “It’s Time to Go”, “Sometimes giving up is the strong thing/ Sometimes to run is the brave thing/ Sometimes walking out is the one thing/ That will find you the right thing.” After the lyric videos dropped, fans who listened closely wondered if Swift was referring to her onetime BFF Karlie Kloss in the lyrics to both songs, particularly “It’s Time to Go”. “When the words of a sister come back in whispers / That prove she was not, in fact, what she seemed,” Swift sings in the first verse before continuing with, “Not a twin from your dreams / She’s a crook who was caught.” Swift then revealed what the bonus tracks were about in an Instagram post. Her message included, “ is a song about a girl who stayed forever in the exact spot where her heart was broken, completely frozen in time. ‘it’s time to go’ is about listening to your gut when it tells you to leave. How you always know before you know, you know?”
