During the final hours of New York City's big snowstorm this week, which blanketed the city in over 17.2 inches of snow, Selena Gomez made a bold move: Navigating the city and its scantily plowed sidewalks in heels. The singer was photographed out on Tuesday, carefully walking to lunch with a friend at The Odeon restaurant in TriBeCa. Gomez wore a pair of ripped jeans, a giant pink scarf, cream teddy coat, white gloves, and an orange mask. She carried a black purse, which complemented her black heels. Gomez has been in Manhattan for the past couple weeks, filming her upcoming Hulu comedy Only Murders in the Building. Earlier this week, hair stylist Evanie Frausto posted photos of Gomez in the pastel rainbow wig he created for her on his Instagram Story. In one shot, she appears in a mask (in adherence to New York's COVID-19 guidelines) and her Louis Vuitton monogram trench. It's unclear whether the look was for a project or just for fun. (Some celebrities will wear wigs when they go out to help disguise them, so they can have some privacy.) In addition to Only Murders in the Building, Gomez is on the cusp of releasing her first Spanish EP, REVELACIÓN, on March 12. Gomez spoke to Apple Music's Zane Lowe last month about how singing in Spanish has been a longtime dream of hers. "This has been something I've wanted to do for 10 years, working on a Spanish project, because I'm so, so proud of my heritage, and just genuinely felt like I wanted this to happen," she said. "And it happened, and I feel like it's the perfect timing. Just with all the division in the world, there's something about Latin music that globally just makes people feel things, you know?"

Selena Gomez is literally all of us in quarantine. The 28-year-old singer took to her Instagram Story on Tuesday, Feb. 16 to give her 210 million followers her take on Instagram vs. reality. In a series of polaroid photos, the "Wolves" artist first showed off a series of glam looks, including a shot of the Disney alum in a leather dress. Following the Fast and Furious vibes, the star posted a photo of herself wearing eyeglasses and a thick white robe while holding a mug and blanket. She captioned the pic, "K but real life ." And the chill mode is totally understandable as Selena is filming a new TV show and creating new music right now—who needs the glam look all the time? http://instagram.com/p/CKCN_FQDYB7 As fans may recall, Selena recently released new Spanish-speaking songs "Baila Conmigo" featuring Rauw Alejandro and "De Una Vez" from her upcoming Spanish album REVELACIÓN, which is slated to drop March 12. This is an exciting time for the young star as the new project will be the first time she's singing in Spanish let alone for a full-on album.

Selena Gomez embraced New York City's beloved all-black uniform today, stepping out on the set of Only Murders in the Building in a black blouse, trousers, and a long coat. She carried one of her dogs—seemingly her younger dog Daisy—with her on set and accessorized with a gold necklace and hoop earrings, plus a black mask. Gomez looked chic, naturally, and so did her pup: Gomez arrived on set in a different outfit: a long peach coat, sweatpants, and Uggs; her dog was with her. Comfort first: Gomez's set appearance comes one day after her interview with Vogue came out. Gomez spoke to the outlet about how she has purposely been off social media for three years. “I woke up one morning and looked at Instagram, like every other person, and I was done,” Gomez recalled. “I was tired of reading horrible things. I was tired of seeing other people’s lives. After that decision, it was instant freedom. My life in front of me was my life, and I was present, and I could not have been more happy about it.”

Selena Gomez has been officially single for years now, but when PDA photos of her in character with her Only Murders in the Building co-star and on-screen love interest Aaron Dominguez came out, some fans thought it was a real romance—and harassed Dominguez on social media. He was able to make light of it, and so was Gomez. on some level. But when asked about it by the Los Angeles Times in a new interview, Gomez candidly reflected on how this attention to and commentary on her love life makes it impossible to date. With Dominguez particularly, “We had just started working together. I honestly thought, ‘No wonder guys don’t want to date me!’ I think people only care because I’m young, and the older I get the less they’ll care. For now it’s a part of the job that I don’t really like. I’m actually grateful that I’m not involved with anyone right now.” Gomez also addressed the viral photo that came out of her flipping off a paparazzo while working on her show. “Somebody was being disrespectful,” she said. “And I don’t do well with that. Look, I am a very modest person, until you disrespect people. Maybe [it wasn’t] my best moment, but a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do. And I felt very okay with being like…‘Don’t talk to people that way!’” Gomez spoke a little about what the show will be like during an Instagram Live last month: “The show is actually really fun,” she said. “It’s kind of a dramedy, so there’s moments that are real and then there are other moments that are complete chaos and hilarious. I’m working with Steve Martin and Martin Short and if you don’t know their work, by the way, they’re pretty amazing people to be around.”

This year, Selena Gomez has been busy in New York City, filming her new show, Only Murders in the Building. While she's been at it, she's shown off quite a few excellent looks, including this oversized trench coat and this orange fuzzy coat. She might have topped off all of these memorable looks on Saturday, when she was photographed with a giant fake-blood stain on her white turtleneck sweater and a short tartan skirt. Her character, Mabel, also appears to be getting arrested in the photos. This looks like a particularly unfortunate situation (all fictional, of course!), but it also looks like a pretty bad-ass Halloween costume that Gomez is totally pulling off. If you weren't already excited for this new Hulu project starring Gomez, Steve Martin, Martin Short, and more, these images will certainly pique your interest.
