Happy Birthday to Her Majesty, the Queen! 54,134 views Apr 21, 2022 'Happy Birthday to Her Majesty, the Queen!' The Queen is celebrating her 96th birthday with friends and family at Sandringham Estate. Join us as we look back on a turbulent year for Her Majesty. In honor of the Queen's birthday on Thursday, a new portrait of the monarch has been released by the Royal Windsor Horse Show. The majestic shot, which was taken last month on the grounds of Windsor Castle, shows the Queen standing proudly between her fell ponies, Bybeck Katie and Bybeck Nightingale. She wears a dark green cape-style coat as she holds the reins of two of her favorite ponies in front of a magnolia tree. Queen Elizabeth will mark her 96th birthday in a place full of reminders of her late husband Prince Philip, who died last April at the age of 99. On Wednesday, the monarch traveled from Windsor Castle to her Sandringham estate in Norfolk, about 110 miles north of London, Buckingham Palace confirmed. She's believed to be staying at Wood Farm, the cozy five-bedroom home where Philip spent much of his retirement. The palace told PEOPLE that the Queen will be spending her birthday privately.

Ruling the Waves: Royal Boat Races and River Tours 7,435 views May 21, 2022 The royal family has always had an undeniable affinity with boating and the sea.
Both Her Majesty and Prince Philip would often hitch a ride on a boat during their royal tours, such as one riverboat trip in Thailand to attend a government reception.
Now a popular tourist attraction, Her Majesty’s Yacht Britannia was the Queen’s vessel for 44 years.
The royal yacht sailed more than a million nautical miles across the globe before it was decommissioned in December 1997, due to expensive repair and restoration costs.
