One day long into the future, Mia Grace Tindall is bound to be told what her grandmother said about children long before she was born. Asked on television about becoming president of Save The Children, Princess Anne replied: ‘I wasn’t particularly keen on children — and I’m still not. But you don’t actually have to like children very much to be interested in giving them the best possible start in life.’ Looking at the enchanting pictures in this special Mail pullout, especially those that show Mia and her grandmother, the normally pokerfaced Princess Anne, at play, we can be certain the Queen’s daughter had her tongue firmly in her cheek when she gave that interview.

They're ten years apart in age and were born on different sides of the world. But for Crown Princess Mary of Denmark and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, that's where the differences seemingly end. Australian-born Mary, 44, and English-born Kate, 34, both grew up as commoners but now find themselves in line to one day become queens. With their brunette hair, strikingly similar figures and Princes for husbands, the pair could easily pass as sisters. Pictured here earlier this summer, the Duchess joined Prince William at the Air Tattoo Airshow and dug deep into her wardrobe and pulled out this beautiful blue pencil dress by Stella McCartney.

It’s been 19 years since Princess Diana died in a car crash in Paris on August 31, 1997. The Today Show put together a touching video montage in which Diana’s children, Prince Harry and Prince William, explain why she was so special.
After her death on August 31, 1997, the relentless photographers that dogged her every move were “accused of literally chasing her to her death,” reported CBS News’ Randall Pinkston.
Diana, Princess of Wales, was traveling through Paris in a limo with boyfriend Dodi Fayed, the son of an Egyptian millionaire. They were being chased by photographers, and crashed in a tunnel under the Place de l’Alma.
Even in the immediate aftermath of the tragedy, some paparazzi were looking for their biggest payday yet. The editor of a U.S. tabloid told CBS News that worldwide rights to photos taken of Diana trapped in the wreckage were offered to him for one million dollars.

Historic Royal Palaces’ development plans for the Grade I-listed Orangery will provide more than 1,500 square metres of extra space over three floors – two below ground and one above ground. Although HRP insists that members of the Royal Family have no involvement in the project the planning application submitted to Kensington and Chelsea Council last week states: “The addition of a basement storey is required to allow for the accommodation of administration which must necessarily be moved out of rooms leased from the Royal Household in Kensington Palace.” The basement will free up office space currently being occupied by HRP staff in apartments 8 and 9, the former marital home of Charles and Diana wh

An ex-paratrooper who served alongside Prince Harry has handed himself into police after going on the run for two weeks following his conviction for child rape. Wayne Domeney, 51, who also trained Prince William, was being hunted by police so he could be sentenced for a string of sex offences spanning a four-year period. He disappeared following his conviction earlier this month but gave himself up following a high-profile manhunt. The former soldier, of Consett, County Durham, handed himself into a police station in Basingstoke on Friday night after an arrest warrant was issued.
