Taylor Swift has brought her 1989 tour to Glasgow - the home of her boyfriend Calvin Harris. The Scottish DJ was born in Dumfries, just an hour away from the city, and his girlfriend will be performing hits from her latest album in front of a sold-out crowd. She was spotted getting off her private jet today, and looked hotter than ever as she showed off in a casual style. Taylor was snapped flaunting her famous legs in a pair of denim shorts as she climbed down the steps of the plane. She added to the casual look with a pair of shades and a baddy grey jumper. The singer is getting the UK leg of her huge world tour underway at the Hydro arena tonight, and at least it will in relatively familiar surroundings. Before flying in from Amsterdam, Taylor had been entertaining fans in Europe recently, impressing fans with her stellar stage show. Now fans across the UK will get to experience her latest thrilling live show, which is said to be more extravagant than ever. Meanwhile, Calvin congratulated Taylor after she challenged Apple about not paying artists during a three-month trial of Apple Music and won. The DJ had high praise for his partner, insisting she has changed "the entire music industry". He wrote on Twitter: "I just played a gig inside a giant owl and my girl just changed the entire music industry what a day."

Taylor Swift may be thousands of miles from her US home, but in Scotland it appears she is right where she belongs. “I am one of you,” the singer told a packed crowd at Scotland’s SSE Hydro stadium in Glasgow as she kicked off the UK leg of her 1989 world tour. The Shake It Off singer said her father had emailed her ahead of her performance to inform her of the family’s Scottish heritage. “In the subject line it said ‘Tell Scotland this’ and in the email he said our whole family is from Scotland and you have to tell them that. “So I am one of you, and I’m proud because this crowd is amazing,” she told her fans. The 25-year-old singer performed Blank Space while swinging a golf iron on stage, and said after the song: “I happen to love Scottish people, personally”. Singing superstar Taylor Swift has landed in Manchester ahead of her gig in the city tonight. And as far as arrivals go it was pretty impressive. The Bad Blood singer flew into Manchester Airport in her own private jet with the registration N898TS. The initials TS, naturally, stand for Taylor Swift – it is her plane after all – and 89 refers to her album 1989. Tay Tay, who is dating DJ Calvin Harris, is playing her first gig in the city since 2011. Watch: Taylor Swift fly into Manchester in her private jet

Taylor Swift reigns atop Billboard’s Hot Tours tally for the second consecutive week with $15.2 million in ticket sales reported from the finals three stops on the first North American leg of her 1989 World Tour. (See list, below.) Performances at Charlotte’s Time Warner Cable Arena and PNC Arena in Raleigh round out the five arena dates during the three-week trek that began on May 20. She followed those sold out shows on June 8 and 9 with a two-night stand in Philadelphia at Lincoln Financial Field, the last U.S. engagement before heading to Europe. The pop singer has included the home stadium of the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles on her past three tours, selling out five concerts in the venue. During the Speak Now tour in 2011, she packed the stadium on one August evening and returned two years later with her Red tour for two July performances. This year’s run on June 12 and 13 racked up more than $11.9 million in box office revenue from 101,052 sold seats. With Vance Joy as special guest, along with Shawn Mendes on the stadium shows, Swift played for more than 279,000 fans at nine U.S. concerts promoted by AEG Live’s The Messina Group. All of the shows were sellouts, generating more than $32.1 million at the box office. Swift will kick off her six-city jaunt through Europe on June 19 and return for a second North American trek early in July. Following in the second slot on Hot Tours is first-time tour headliner 5 Seconds of Summer with $10.4 million in sales from 23 concerts reported during the past week. The pop/rock group launched the European leg of its Rock Out With Your Socks Out tour in Lisbon on May 4 and continued on the road through June 14 with concerts in 25 cities.

The Taylor Swift BFF Tour made a stop in London on Saturday night when the singer brought six of her famous pals on stage during her latest concert. Kendall Jenner, Cara Delevingne, Gigi Hadid, Martha Hunt, Karlie Kloss and tennis star Serena Williams all came out to strut their stuff as Swift sang her hit “Style” at the Hyde Park show. Off stage, that squad got even bigger. Emma Watson was on hand too, as seen in this photo shared by singer Lauren Aquilina.

Photographers with the Gazette, La Presse, Le Devoir, Le Journal de Montreal, Métro and 24 Hours all declined to take pictures of her "1989 World Tour" stop after being shown a contract that, among other things, only allowed them to use their snaps once, Fagstein reported. The Gazette ran a review with an Instagram photo. Others used Getty file images. The moves came after freelance photographer Jason Sheldon cast Swift as a hypocrite in a letter last month. Swift had previously penned a letter to Apple saying she would withhold her album "1989" from its new Apple Music streaming service over a lack of payment to "writers, producers or artists" during a free, three-month trial period. Sheldon told Swift that, while standing up for artists when it came to streaming music, "you seem happy to restrict [photographers] to being paid once, and never being able to earn from our work ever again, while granting you the rights to exploit our work for your benefit for all eternity." He then asked Swift how she's any different from Apple: "How about making sure you're not guilty of the very same tactic before you have a pop at someone else?" A Swift representative based in the U.K. told Business Insider the contract was "misrepresented" in Sheldon's letter. The rep pointed out that photographers can make further use of photos of the 1989 World Tour "with management's approval." "Another distinct misrepresentation is the claim that the copyright of the photographs will be with anyone other than the photographer," the rep said. "This agreement does not transfer copyright away from the photographer. Every artist has the right to and should protect the use of their name and likeness." The sold out Taylor Swift 1989 World Tour concert took place at Canadian Tire Centre on Monday, July 6, 2015.
