Like the universe, Taylor Swift's infinite squad of friends is constantly expanding. The 25-year-old singer, currently traversing the globe on her "1989" World Tour, invited models Andreja Pejić and Lily Donaldson to join her on stage at Chicago's Soldier Field Sunday night. "Tonight [Pejić and Donaldson] shut down the runway," Swift wrote on Twitter. "Crowd went insane!" Pejić, 23, made headlines earlier this year when she became the first openly transgender model profiled in Vogue. She confessed to the magazine in April that she gets "a little stressed with runway," but the Australia-raised beauty looked plenty comfortable rocking out on stage in a flowing white gown and black thigh-high boots. Now, as she makes her way around the globe for her 1989 World Tour, she’s been bringing members of her posse to the stage at every one of her shows. Among the latest to stomp the stage with Swift was transgender model Andreja Pejic. Pejic, who was the first transgender model profiled by Vogue, accompanied Victoria’s Secret Angel Lily Donaldson on stage during Swift’s hit, “Style” at the Chicago leg of her tour.

Taylor Swift brings out surprise guest Walk The Moon during the first night of her 1989 World Tour at Gillette Stadium on Friday (July 24) in Foxboro, Mass. The 25-year-old superstar and the indie rock band performed the group’s hit ‘Shut Up and Dance,’ which you can watch in the video below! Taylor sounded extremely grateful to have the band join her on stage and told fans it was one of the many incredible songs released this summer. She explained that when she first heard the song she said, “I have to have it, I have to buy it, I have to play it on repeat and know every single word, I have to jump around in my bedroom to this song.” Later, Taylor took to her Instagram later that evening to share a cute image hugging the band and said, “Thanks @walkthemoonband for surprising the Boston crowd with ‘Shut Up and Dance’!!! 60,000 person dance party.”

The light from the open roof of BC Place worked against the light show early on. But that sorted itself out around the third song -- a massive re-orchestrated I Knew You Were Trouble that got just a little Magic Mike (in the best way possible), though it stayed on the safe side of PG. Swift is herself not a particularly strong dancer, but that awkwardness is part of what makes her presence so endearing. Pop stars often bring their personal narrative on stage, but Swift takes it to another level. Amidst theatrical pop set pieces, things got personal in an interview with her best girlfriends, who happen to be wildly famous people like Lena Dunham, model Jaime King and rock band Haim. Not only does Swift's move to New York provide the narrative thread for the show, but over and over, she addressed the audience as if they were old friends just catching up after a two year absence. "We live in different parts of the world, but with twitter and Instagram I can keep up with you... ," she told the massive crowd. "The things that make me feel the most connected to you are when you just talk about what's going on in your life." Then she laid down some relationship advice and everyone loved it. That's just the kind of friendship she has with her fans. The trick, of course, was to work her older stuff into her newest narrative. This meant bringing a gothy 80s keyboard into Love Story from her first album, Fearless (2009). Throughout the evening, she was hinting at a surprise which made the stage near the end. Contrary to expectations that she might bring back her friends Tegan and Sara, in the end, Norwegian hip hop duo Nico and Vinz appeared, joining Swift for a very bouncy rendition of their 2013 single Am I Wrong? off their album Envy. Though the show was not short in spectacle, the sound had some rough stops, particularly in Out of the Woods. But Swift made up for it with the explosive finale of Shake it Off, appearing not as a cheerleader after all, but in a green faux-grass skirt and matching halter, proving that you don't need a uniform to spread cheer.

That faint noise you heard Saturday night wasn’t a distant firework or a car backfire. That was CenturyLink Field’s roof ready to explode. Seattle welcomed Taylor Swift to town as part of her “1989” tour, and she in turn welcomed Russell Wilson and girlfriend Ciara on stage, which is akin to Jesus being the surprise guest at a meeting at the Vatican. If Peyton Manning were hollering out signals at the time, his receivers wouldn’t have had a prayer. It’s not the 12th man, but more like the 12th-through-100th men. Seeing as Wilson, the star Seahawks quarterback, proudly has proclaimed he and Ciara are not having sex for religious reasons, this is as lucky as he can get.

Throughout her 1989 tour, Taylor Swift’s been bringing everyone from Lorde to The Weeknd on stage to perform with her. Tay’s latest guest was Fetty Wap, who joined her at Seattle’s CenturyLink Field to perform his hit “Trap Queen.” Swift was very, very excited about this duet. After the concert, she posted a photo on Instagram, declaring that she was “unable to find my chill.” Rapper Vince Staples seemed pretty amused by Taylor Swift singing about “cooking pies” — since the kind of “pie” Fetty Wap is talking about is definitely not apple or cherry.
