Meghan Markle — who claimed to Oprah Winfrey last week that she never thought what it would be like to marry a prince — blogged about dreaming of becoming a princess seven years ago, a new report says. “Little girls dream of being princesses. I, for one, was all about She-Ra, Princess of Power,’’ wrote the now-duchess of Sussex in 2014, while commenting on the “pomp” surrounding Britain’s Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding three years earlier, according to The Sun on Sunday. “For those of you unfamiliar with the ‘80s cartoon reference, She-Ra is the twin sister of He-Man and a sword-wielding royal rebel known for her strength,” Markle said in her since-nixed blog. “We’re definitely not talking about Cinderella here,” said Markle, who married Prince Harry, William’s brother, in May 2018. “Grown women seem to retain this childhood fantasy. Just look at the pomp and circumstance surrounding the royal wedding and endless conversation about Princess Kate,” Markle mused. The 39-year-old former actress — who recounted to Winfrey how Middleton allegedly made her cry before her wedding to Harry — also claimed in the explosive TV chat that she basically had no clue about the British royal family before marrying into it. “I went into it naively because I didn’t grow up knowing much about the royal family, said Markle — who along with Harry also claimed one blue blood relayed “concerns” to the prince over how dark their son Archie’s skin would be. Markle said talk about the royals “wasn’t something that was part of the conversation at home. “It wasn’t something that we followed,” she said.

Meghan Markle's estranged half-sister has gone from armchair psychologist to marriage counselor for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, but not a very hopeful one ... because she's predicting divorce. Samantha Markle -- who has no relationship with Harry or Meghan and has never been with them since they hooked up -- says Meghan and Prince Harry are inevitably heading for a split unless they get some serious counseling and go on an apology tour to undo all the damage they've done to the Royal Family. It doesn't sound like Sam's holding her breath for that though, and she suggests Harry's probably already questioning his marriage to Meghan ... whom she accuses of nonstop lying. It's pretty incendiary stuff from Samantha, who thinks it's only a matter of time before Harry pulls away ... and divorce lawyers get involved. Again, she has no connection to the Royals either, but that hasn't stopped her from weighing in. As we reported ... Meghan's half-sister trashed Meghan earlier this week for turning her back on their family ... claiming she suffers from "narcissistic personality disorder."

Queen Elizabeth's statement in response to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's interview with Oprah Winfrey contained a line that stood out. Buckingham Palace released a short, 61-word statement on behalf of the monarch, 94, two days after the interview aired in the U.S. While the Queen said the family was "saddened" to hear of Meghan and Harry's challenges and stated "Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members," she also remarked that "some recollections may vary" when it comes to the issues and concerns raised in their interview. The comment was an "underlying jab" and indicates dissent among the family at some of the claims made in the interview, a royal insider tells PEOPLE in this week's cover story. During the interview, Meghan said she was "silenced" by the institution, adding that she was denied help when she was suffering a mental health crisis and that there were "concerns and conversations about how dark [Archie's] skin might be when he's born" voiced by a member of the royal family. Although they didn't want to name the family member, Oprah said Monday morning on CBS This Morning that it was not Queen Elizabeth or Prince Philip. The family and their aides were in crisis talks as they formulated a response to the interview, which was watched by more than 17 million viewers in the U.S. and 11 million viewers in the U.K.

This week on Royal Rewind, the conversations surrounding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's tell-all interview continue, with Gayle King revealing that the Duchess of Sussex has "documents" that back up every claim she made during her sit-down with Oprah Winfrey. Plus, Prince Philip has officially been discharged from the hospital. Ms King issued a stark warning to Buckingham Palace yesterday as she appeared on CBS This Morning. The broadcaster shared key details from a conversation with Meghan and Prince Harry, including news the Duke of Sussex held "unproductive" conversations with Prince Charles and Prince William over the weekend. And, she added, she has evidence of every claim made during her groundbreaking chat with Oprah. She said: "Meghan has documents to back up everything that she said on Oprah's interview. Everything". During the landmark two-hour-long interview, Meghan said she was not provided help by the palace after revealing she was feeling suicidal during her first pregnancy. Meghan also claimed there were discussions concerning "how dark" the skin of her firstborn would be. These conversations, she told Oprah, were carried out in tandem with talks over whether Archie would get a title and security.

An expert believes Meghan Markle’s intentions behind marrying Prince Harry was only to shoot for the title of Queen and becoming a Duchess, under Kate Middleton, became alleged degradation.
This claim was brought forward by famed author and journalist Tom Bower. In his opinion piece for The Sun he admitted Meghan Markle was aiming for the title of the Queen of England and even accused her of marrying Prince Harry for fame and press.
The journalist also admitted, “Like a Hollywood diva, she has cursed those who don’t understand that being the Duchess of Sussex was not enough. Walking in procession behind the other royals, especially Prince William and Kate, was demeaning.”
He even notes, “She wanted to be the Queen of England. All those Britons who stood in her way are accused of sexism and racism. The question is whether Meghan ever intended to stay in Britain. Did she honestly want to sacrifice her Californian lifestyle and serve as a member of the Royal Family in rainy Britain?”
Mr. Bower even wonders if Meghan’s intentions were only to “use the marriage and title as a stepping stone to further her ambitions in the sunshine?”
He conluded by saying, "Convinced of her own greatness, Meghan thinks she has, for years, been the victim of plots to destroy her destiny. While others shone in leading roles, Meghan had bit parts.”
