London Search and Rescue team has said they've found "nothing significant" so far in their hunt for missing woman Sarah Everard. They are assisting police in the search for Sarah, 33, who vanished after spending a night with friends on Wednesday, March 3. The Met also have teams out searching on Clapham Common and the surrounding areas. They are asking locals to check dash cams and video doorbells from Wednesday night. Family and friends are urging people to keep the momentum up on social media by sharing posts and asking people to come forwards if they may have seen Sarah. "Please retweet and keep the media momentum going for my friend #SarahEverard," wrote one friend on Twitter. Sarah was last seen leaving her friend's house in Clapham and her family say they are "getting more and more worried" about her.

A hat found on Clapham Common similar to the one Sarah Everard was wearing when she was last seen on Wednesday evening is not believed to be linked to her disappearance. The cream wool hat, discovered in a bush by a passer-by at about 11am on Monday, appeared to be similar to the one worn by the 33-year-old in CCTV footage released by detectives in a public appeal. However the Metropolitan Police later said it did not believe it was linked to missing Ms Everard, who was last seen near the common in south London. Earlier, Ms Everard's uncle said her phone is not ringing and WhatsApp messages are not getting through. Nick Everard said his brother and sister-in-law are "beside themselves with worry" and pleaded with anyone who may be holding his niece to "just be human and to let her come home".

Police investigating the disappearance of Sarah Everard have turned their focus to a block of flats near where she was last seen. It comes as two new photographs of the 33-year-old were released by police following her disappearance last Wednesday. One of the new images shows Ms Everard wearing the same coat as on the night she went missing. Officers continue to ask people who live in the Clapham Junction area, or who were there from 9.30pm on Wednesday 3 March, to check any CCTV or dashcams they may have and to come forward with any information. A cordon has been put in place on the A205, near the Poynders Court housing complex in the Clapham area.

Human remains have been found in the search for missing woman Sarah Everard, Met Commissioner Cressida Dick said. Ms Everard, 33, was last seen a week ago in Clapham, south London, on her way home from a friend's house. Detectives have not been able to confirm the identity of the remains, which were discovered in woodland near Ashford, Kent. It comes after a serving Met Police officer was arrested on suspicion of Ms Everard's kidnap and murder. Dame Cressida said specialist officers have updated Sarah's family on the investigation. She added: "The news today that it was a Met Police officer arrested on suspicion of Sarah's murder has sent waves of shock and anger through the public and through the whole of the Met. "I speak on behalf of all my colleagues in the Met when I say we are utterly appalled at this dreadful news. Our job is to patrol the streets and to protect people."

The Met said he was treated in hospital but had "returned to a police station". He was arrested in Kent and is also being questioned about a separate allegation of indecent exposure. Ms Everard, 33, was last seen on 3 March in Clapham, south London, on her way home from a friend's house. Human remains were discovered in woodland near Ashford, Kent, on Wednesday but detectives have not yet been able to confirm their identity.
