Republic Record’s ‘Playbook’ website (managed by the label’s radio promotion team) confirmed today (Jan. 12) that we all already knew. That the Harry Styles-inspired “Style” song is going to be the next official single from "1989" (freaking out too!?).  She performed it at Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in December, Big Machine Records boss Scott Borchetta said it was personal choice for next “1989” single in a tweet, and several Top 40 radios have already added it to their playlists. So did we really need 'confirmation' that “Style” was going to be 'the one'? I mean, it’s always nice to have an official outlet backing up your ‘hopes’ and confirming the rumours but I think that in the case of “Style” there was no need. It was just so damn obvious. This song is destined to #1. Taylor has it in the bag. EASY. So. “Style” is 'officially' impacting pop radios in the U.S on February 10th. What would Republic/Big Machine’s perfect strategy would be? Have Taylor Swift perform “Style” live on the 57th Grammys on February 8, premiere the music video on February 9 and then let the radio premiere go ahead as planned February 10. The SLAYAGE is coming and you just know it.  |

Check out a brand new sneak peek of Taylor Swift looking beautiful in her upcoming music video for new single “Style“! The 25-year-old entertainer didn’t add any caption to the video on Instagram, but we don’t think one is even necessary!  It was just announced that Taylor will debut the video on Good Morning America on Friday (February 13). We can’t wait to see the video!  The muse or man behind her song Style has remained a secret. And Taylor Swift continued to leave fans wondering when she unveiled two mysterious sneak peeks to the track's upcoming music video. The 25-year-old captioned a clip on Wednesday: '#Feb13STYLE'. With full lashes and ruby red lips, Taylor closed her eyes before slowly turning her back away from the audience. A second video shared earlier on Tuesday captured the Blank Space singer as she stood motionless with a plume of smoke rising through her neck.  'This song is about my life, and I've never revealed who it's actually about, but the song kind of speaks for itself,' Taylor revealed in an interview with Ryan Seacrest on 102.7 KIIS. Taylor - who has also dated Joe Jonas and John Mayer - recently admitted that she would have to meet an 'astonishing' man to consider dating again because the mere thought gives her a 'partial panic attack'.  |

It's always been obvious that the majority of Taylor Swift's 1989 album was inspired by her relationship with One Direction front man Harry Styles. But in case you didn't get that before, the "Style" music video is here to spell it out for you.  Rather than put out another fun, instantly iconic video like "Shake It Off" and "Blank Space," Swift took the moody, metaphorical route for "Style." But can they really be called metaphors when everything is so darn obvious?  First off, Swift is literally filmed standing in the woods. Then, she has actual woodland scenery superimposed onto her body. So, apparently the answer to the question Swift keeps asking on that other 1989 track is: No, Taylor. You are very clearly not out of the woods yet. But all these references to "Out of the Woods" isn't just for the sake of cross-promotion. It's because "Out of the Woods" features maybe the most obvious Harry Styles' references on the whole album - well, just short of calling a song "Style," that is. In the song, Swift sings the equivalent of big flashing arrows pointing at Styles when she references his paper airplanes necklace and an incident which landed the pair in the hospital. Then, in case you didn't understand that both "Style" and "Out of the Woods" were about Harry, Swift holds the exact same paper airplane necklace within the first minute of the "Style" video. Harry Styles just can't seem to Shake Off ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift, and his new girlfriend is not one bit pleased! The One Direction star is rumored to be dating Victoria's Secret model, Nadine Leopold, and she is reportedly getting fed up of the 'Shake It Off' hitmaker always referencing her previous relationship with Harry. A source said, "For one thing, it's making his relationship with Nadine more difficult. They feel like wherever they go, they are hearing Taylor's songs on the radio.  "Nadine really wants Taylor to get over him. She wants Harry to herself and doesn't think it's right for Taylor to draw this out anymore. She wants Taylor to go away." Nadine is believed to be furious with Taylor after one of the shots in her recently-released music video for her latest single 'Style' shows her clutching the paper plane necklace the 'Steal My Girl' hitmaker had given to her when they were dating in 2012. However, it doesn't look like Nadine will be happy as Taylor is reportedly not planning to stop any time soon and is still "obsessed" with the 21-year-old singer. Another source told HollywoodLife.com, "She's still obsessed with him. She never got over him, like she did with John [Mayer] and Jake [Gyllenhaal]. Harry really had a huge impact on her. "She makes references to him all the time still, but if she's confronted with the question of, 'Why are you still singing about him?' she'll just say, 'It's just a song.' She'll totally downplay it. "He's so hard to dislike first off. He's not a jerk, he's super charming and she was really in love with him."  |

The floppy-haired heartthrob has reportedly been dating Nadine Leopold since the pair were spotted kissing and holding hands at the Steal My Girl’s 21st birthday party last month. However it would seem that the Austrian model has put the kibosh on any plans that Harry may have had on the two of them becoming an item.  Heat magazine quoted a source as saying: "She still wants to be friends, but Nadine is really career-focused and she's told Harry she's simply too busy to date him. Harry is gutted. He's never been dumped before, so it's a real punch in the stomach for him. Even though they can't spend much time together Harry was speaking to her a lot and making plans to fly her over to spend the summer with him.” And it would seem that Harry - who has built up something of a reputation as a womaniser since his X Factor days - is not taking her decision so well. "Harry wants to be more than just friends, so he feels a bit sad right now,” the insider added. “Harry liked that she wasn't going to follow him around the world - it was what was keeping him interested."  Styles may not find himself single for long though … Hollywood Life reported that Taylor Swift is “thrilled” to hear the news that Leopold dumped Styles. She’s glad that he finally “knows how it feels” to be left in the dust. A source spoke exclusively to Hollywood Life about Swift’s alleged reaction to the Styles-Leopold split. “Taylor is secretly so happy that they broke up, and the fact that Nadine broke up with him kind of gives her pleasure. Now he knows how it feels. She never thought Harry and Nadine were right for each other anyway.” We had heard that he loved her independence, but it sounds like he didn't expect them to break up over it! "Harry wants to be more than just friends, so he feels a bit sad right now. Harry liked that she wasn't going to follow him around the world — it was what was keeping him interested," their source continued. Of course, we don't know if this is actually true, especially because it's hard to keep track of what he's doing during their On the Road Again tour. She's definitely been traveling all around the world, and Instagramming photos from her travels, but that doesn't mean they're over for good. |
