Tennis fans have crowned Kim Sears as the unofficial Australian Open champion after she poked fun at her earlier swearing row by wearing a ‘Parental Advisory’ T-shirt to the men’s final. Andy Murray’s girlfriend was named by people on social media as the champion of the tournament after she turned up to today’s final wearing a black T-shirt with the ‘Explicit Content’ logo on it. Kim was clearly making a jokey reference to the media storm that engulfed her just days earlier. During her fiancée’s semi-final match against Tomas Berdych, TV cameras zoomed on Kim after Murray had won a point. At that point, the normally demure Kim was filmed apparently swearing in celebration. Murray was forced to defend his wife-to-be after critics rounded on her, saying: “In the heat of the moment you can say stuff that you regret.” Few people were regretting Kim’s decision to wear the T-shirt with the logo, which is traditionally used as a sticker on music singles and albums with explicit lyrics.

When Andy Murray and long-term girlfriend Kim Sears say "I do" on Saturday 11 April in the former Wimbledon champion's hometown of Dunblane, they will do so before a gathering of the couple's closest family and friends. Despite rubbing shoulders with celebrities and playing on court with some of tennis' best-known sportsmen, British tennis star Tim Henman is the only guest of celebrity status that will be sharing the happy couple's special day. "There won't be any celebrities as such. I don't have any celebrity friends so it wasn't something that was planned," Andy said. Going on to explain how they came up with the guest list for their big day, Andy explained: "[It'll be] Everyone who we're close to, people we've spent a lot of time with in the past but also people we see ourselves spending time with in the future. That's how we came up with the names. With just days left to their wedding day, Andy confirms that all the planning is taken care of: "Pretty much everything is done now and under control. I'm sure a few things will come up next week but it's pretty much sorted." In a recent US interview with Rolling Stone, Andy revealed that he had entrusted his future wife with most of the planning for their big day – with the exception of the food and the cake. "I think in a lot of cases it's just better to let the woman have it how she would like," said the 27-year-old. "In terms of flowers and colour schemes and those sorts of things, I couldn't really care less about that, to be honest. "The one thing that I really wanted to do was be involved with the food," he added. "Because I like my food, I like good food. I went along and did the food tasting and I also did the cake tasting as well. So that would be the thing that I would say I have been most involved in.

Love doesn't mean "zero" for this tennis star! Scottish tennis pro Andy Murray married longtime girlfriend Kim Sears Saturday at Dunblane Cathedral in Dunblane, Scotland. The couple began dating in 2005 and got engaged in November. Murray, 27, was seen arriving to the church dressed in a formal kilt. He was joined by his brother Jamie Murray, who was also dressed in a similar ensemble. The tennis star waved to the gathered crowds as he walked up to the 12th century cathedral. Later, he emerged with his smiling bride and they were showered with well-wishes from guests and fans. Sears wore a bespoke Jenny Packham wedding gown, featuring silk chiffon and hand beaded Swarovski crystals. Murray was clearly excited about the big day even before he exchanged his vows, sending out an emoji-filled tweet on Saturday morning. The grandmother of British tennis champion Andy Murray said the wedding was absolutely "fantastic". An enthusiastic Shirley Erskine made the remarks as she left Cromlix House Hotel with her husband, Roy, for their home. The families spent the day holed up inside the luxury Victorian mansion enjoying time together following the wedding's reception. Shirley said: "We've just all been up there together and everybody's parting in dribs and drabs so we're on the way home."
