It took almost no time for the Swifties to discern that this was a word search, and they subsequently assembled a 13-column search to figure out what exactly Swift was trying to tell us. While the Swifties were cracking codes and putting together spreadsheets, I was sipping my first coffee of the morning and thus had absolutely no brain power to join the hunt.
While I deeply appreciate Swift’s dedication to entertaining her fans not just with music but wild goose chases, I am fucking exhausted. I’m not the young woman I once was when I first heard Red and began to dance atop a rickety coffee table in my underwear with my white roommates. I have a job and a family to care for now, I can’t just drop everything at 10 in the morning on a workday to unearth the secrets of this album. Taylor, I love you but I cannot keep pouring into this one-sided relationship forever. Please, just give me a straightforward mystery and not something you created after watching a documentary on Alan Turing.
I tip my hat to all of the youths and young at heart who had the capacity to do this word search and share their findings with us geriatric Swifties, who just want to hear Taylor say “fuck” over some sad guitar sounds.

The "Red (Taylor's Version)" track list has arrived – and we are once again ready to sing in the car and get lost upstate with Taylor Swift. "I know some of you thought that would be like trying to solve a crossword and realizing there’s no right answer BUT…you played it good & right," Swift posted on social media Friday, invoking lyrics from title track "Red." http://instagram.com/p/CSPEsteMmE5 Swift chose to be "casually cruel" with her fans the day prior to releasing the names of the songs and her collaborators. The three-time album of the year Grammy winner posted a mysterious message on social media Thursday, suggesting she'd soon be announcing the names of new "from the vault" tracks off her upcoming rerecording of her fourth studio album, 2012's "Red." Taylor Swift chose to yet again be "casually cruel" with her fans – not that they're complaining, of course. "*presses post* *cackles maniacally* Level: casually cruel in the name of being honest," she tweeted, referencing lyrics to her objectively finest masterpiece, "All Too Well." She mentioned Friday several collaborators who would be joining her on "Red (Taylor's Version)," which is slated for a Nov. 19 release. "Congrats pals, you guessed the correct titles and feature artists on Red (my version). The vault tracks will feature @chrisstapleton, @phoebebridgers, @markfoster and the first song @teddysphotos and I ever wrote together the first time we met in 2012." She continued: "I can’t express my gratitude enough to these artists for helping me bring these songs to life. I can’t wait til we can dust off our highest hopes and relive these memories together. We’ll also be making a bunch of new ones too, since Red (Taylor’s Version) includes so many songs you haven’t heard yet. Til then, I’ll be counting down and picturing it all in my head. In burning red." Fans will likely not be prepared for a 10-minute version of "All Too Well," the final song on the new album. A teaser video accompanying Thursday's post showed a bunch of (scrambled) letters escaping from a vault. Of course, fans should never (ever, ever) be surprised when Swift pulls a stunt like this: The singer chose this same method when hinting at what was coming on her re-recorded album "Fearless (Taylor's Version)," which arrived in April.

On Friday, Baker, 63, revealed that she finally gained control of her master recordings following a period of time when she did not have ownership of them. "All My Children Are Coming Home," Baker wrote beside a photograph of some of her various albums released over the years. "Impossible Things Happen ... Every. Single. Day. Gratefully." The following day, Swift, 31, quote-tweeted the "Sweet Love" singer's post, writing, "What a beautiful moment, CONGRATULATIONS ANITA!!" It Inspires us all, to move Mountains." Earlier this year, Baker documented how she was attempting to take back control of her music, as she asked fans to not stream or purchase her songs until she could do so. "Miraculously... i have out-lived *ALL, of my Artists Contracts They no longer 'Own,' My Name & Likeness. And, by Law...30 yr old, Mstrs are 2B Returned, 2 Me Unfortunately, They're gonna make me Fight 4 it. I'm Prepared, 2 do that. Please Dont advertise/buy them," she wrote in a March tweet.
