Britney Spears says the court-ordered conservatorship which has put her father in charge of her life and career “killed my dreams.“ In a searing, profanity-laced Instagram post, the pop star, 39, lashed out at her dad Jamie Spears, at her sister and at critics. The “Toxic” singer slammed people who leave comments on videos of herself doing dance routines in her home that she often posts on her Instagram account. She insisted that she won’t be performing live again as long as her dad continues to rule over her. “For those of you who choose to criticize my dancing videos … look I’m not gonna be performing on any stages anytime soon with my dad handling what I wear, say, do, or think 🚫🙅🏼♀️ 🚫!!!! I’ve done that for the past 13 years,” she wrote in the scathing missive on Saturday night. http://instagram.com/p/CRcirTFgkEE “My so-called support system hurt me deeply !!!!,” the post read. “This conservatorship killed my dreams … so all I have is hope and hope is the only thing in this world that is very hard to kill … yet people still try !!!!” She added: “I didn’t like the way the documentaries bring up humiliating moments from the past … I’m way past all that and have been for a long time !!!! And for women who say it’s weird the way I still have hope for fairy tales … go f–k yourself 🖕🏼 !!!!! “I’m gonna go read a mother f–king fairy tale now !!!! Psss if you don’t want to see my precious ass dancing in my living room or it’s not up to your standards … go read a f–king book 📕 !!!!!” The post comes a day after she griped about those who failed to support her publicly in the past — but are rushing to do so now that the “Free Britney” movement is popular.

Britney Spears was overwhelmed with emotion after learning her father, Jamie Spears, was suspended from her conservatorship after 13 years. “Britney burst into tears upon hearing the judge’s decision,” a source exclusively told Page Six of the superstar’s reaction. “For the longest time, she had begun to think that she would never see the day that her father’s domineering control over every single aspect of her life would end, but it finally happened.” The insider added, “She’s in shock and at a loss for words but literally jumping for joy. She hasn’t felt joy like this in 13 years.” Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny conceded that it was in Britney’s “best interest” to suspend Jamie, 69, from the restrictive legal arrangement that he established in 2008, controlling his famous daughter’s personal, medical and financial affairs. “The current situation is untenable,” she said after hearing arguments from both sides. “It reflects a toxic environment which requires the suspension of James Spears.” The ruling came after the 39-year-old singer’s attorney Mathew Rosengart petitioned the court to “immediately” suspend Jamie from the role by Wednesday, arguing that the elder Spears’ continued involvement made Britney’s life a living “nightmare.” While he works to dissolve the conservatorship entirely, Rosengart asked the court to appoint certified public accountant John Zabel as temporary conservator to Britney’s $60 million estate. Despite resistance from Jamie’s legal team, Penny agreed to Zabel’s appointment on Wednesday. Days before Penny ruled to suspend Jamie — delighting Britney and her army of supporters — Rosengart cited a bombshell New York Times report that alleged Jamie hired a private security company to record his daughter’s private conversations, including those she had with her attorney and in her bedroom. Years before the #FreeBritney movement began, Britney had been fighting to regain control of her life. During a landmark court testimony on June 23, the Grammy winner described her conservatorship as “abusive.” She later said she wants to see Jamie charged with “conservatorship abuse.” After the news of Jamie’s suspension broke, Britney’s fiancé, Sam Asghari, took to Instagram to congratulate her fans on the result of their efforts to liberate the pop icon. “FREE BRITNEY!” the model/actor, 27, wrote on his Story, later adding, “She did this. Her fan base is called the Army for a reason.”

Britney Spears has said she is "on cloud nine right now", in what appears to be a response to a judge suspending her father as her conservator. The singer posted a video of her having a flying lesson, shortly after news that Jamie Spears' role was suspended. Spears' lawyer Mathew Rosengart said it was his "hope and expectation" the conservatorship would be fully terminated at a hearing on 12 November. Through his own lawyer, Jamie Spears called the ruling "disappointing". http://instagram.com/p/CUbMCJKsRbJ Judge Penny ruled the singer's care be turned over to Mr Zabel "forthwith", saying it was "in the best interest of the conservatee". Spears' lawyers have requested a new hearing be held in the next 30 to 45 days to decide whether to end the conservatorship altogether, and Mr Rosengart added: "Britney doesn't believe a mental evaluation is necessary, and I certainly don't." Pandora Sykes, who hosts BBC Sounds' Pieces of Britney podcast, told BBC Radio 4's Today programme it was "really good news" that the conservatorship would remain in place for the time being. "If it had been terminated... there wouldn't be any opportunity for Britney's team to gain access to Jamie's correspondence," she said. 'Bringing the ship home' A recent documentary alleged that a private security film employed by Mr Spears had placed his daughter under constant surveillance. "By suspending him they can look into all of this before they then hopefully move to terminate [the conservatorship] in November," Sykes continued. In her Instagram post, Spears told 'JL' - the initials of her sister Jamie-Lynn - that she was "bringing the ship home". Her sister used the same expression in a recent post about the North Atlanta Knockouts, a girls' softball team.
