Taylor Swift is here for it! The pop superstar shared her appreciation for Ed Sheeran's newly released single, "Bad Habits," in a gushing tweet Friday (June 25), hours after the song dropped. "Ed has a new song out and I legitimately cannot get it out of my head!" she wrote. "And this VIDEO!! Stream/Buy/Support/bop to it uncontrollably all summer #BadHabits" She wasn't finished sharing her love for her pal's song, though. Shortly after the tweet, she posted an Instagram Story featuring an image from the English singer-songwriter's music video. Swift captioned it in big red letters: "It's Ed and it's glitter so it's a yes for me." In the glampy music video for the catchy new tune, Sheeran is dressed as a colorful, sparkly running around town at night, wreaking havoc with his fellow blood suckers and putting his superhuman powers on display before he transforms back into a human as dawn breaks. And a bonus for feline fan Swift? The video also briefly features an adorable gray hissing kitty.

Ed Sheeran has the scoop on Taylor Swift's re-recorded Red album. In an interview on Sunday (June 27), Sheeran was asked when he plans to re-record "Everything Has Changed," his duet with Swift that was released on the original Red. Swift has announced a Nov. 19 release date for Red (Taylor's Version), the next studio album from her catalog that she's re-recording. Sheeran didn't shy away from the question. In fact, he gave a straight answer and offered some inside information about what Swift has in the works for fans this fall. Taylor Swift's 'Red (Taylor's Version)' Has 30 Songs: Our Track List Predictions "I've already recorded it," Sheeran revealed on the U.K. radio chart show, in reply to the inquiry about "Everything Has Changed." And then Sheeran added, "Taylor's got a few surprises in store for you, I'll say that." Before Red was originally released in 2012, the pair both implied there was at least one more as-yet-unheard song from their Red-era session. That summer, Sheeran told Rolling Stone that the pair "wrote two tunes, actually, one on the record [Red] and another that's still out in the ether somewhere.” Billboard recently predicted that Red (Taylor's Version), slated to include 30 tracks, might feature that Swift/Sheeran collaboration from the vault.

Ed Sheeran has a lot to celebrate right now. His beloved England soccer team has booked a semi-final spot in the Euros, and his new single “Bad Habits” (Asylum) debuts at No. 1 in the U.K. “Bad Habits” notches 92,000 chart sales this week, including 8.7 million streams, according to the OCC, to give Sheeran his 10th U.K. No. 1. http://instagram.com/p/CQ1R0pHBqTq These are winning days for Sheeran. “I’m absolutely over the moon, and did not expect this start at all,” he writes on Instagram. “I’ve been away for such a long time that I know it’s gonna take a bit to get back to normal, so was expecting this tune to build as the weeks went on, but to debut so high week one is phenomenal, and something that after a decade in this industry I do not take for granted.” The singer and songwriter becomes just the ninth act to reach that double-figures atop the leaderboard. He joins Calvin Harris and Eminem on 10 No. 1 singles across their careers. Only Take That (12), Madonna (13), Cliff Richard and Westlife (14) and The Beatles (17) and Elvis (21) have more chart crowns.
