Her new single Wings was released on Friday, and now Delta Goodrem is getting ready to show fans the sultry music video to go with her sound. Taking to Instagram on Saturday, the 30-year-old Augstralian songstress uploaded a brief behind-the-scenes clip from the set of her video shoot, and like the song's title would suggest, she's flying high to make this video the best yet. 'It's really a concept about being free,' the blonde beauty tells her fans in the video, effortlessly exuding elegance in a black crop top teamed with complementing dark jeans. Then slipping into a light white singlet and ripped blue jeans, the ARIA award-winning artist is seen getting her makeup touched up before it's time to get the cameras rolling. Working her magic in front of the lens for director Anthony Rose, the singing sensation flashes her infectious smile and flicks her tousled locks about. Completing her look with some bold silver bangles, Delta's final stance in the sneak peek clip shows her standing with her arms stretched out while fearlessly staring up at the sky. During an interview with The Today Show's entertainment reporter Richard Wilkins on Friday, another behind-the-scenes video of Delta on set of the shoot was screened. In the same white singlet and ripped jeans combo, the chart-topper sported minimal makeup, instead focusing on dewy foundation and lipstick. 'I feel so excited that the song was written from a place of... that I wanted people to feel like it was that feeling of letting go,' Delta says.

They say life begins at 30. And that seems to be the case for Delta Goodrem, who has says that since reaching the milestone she's never been happier. The Australian singer opened up to the latest issue of WHO magazine saying she thanks a strict diet and exercise regime for making her 'feel sexier' with her body. 'I feel most comfortable in my body now than I ever have,' she said. The beauty went on to add that she has been sticking to a mostly-sugar free diet and daily cardio workouts along with hot yoga classes to keep her figure looking super-toned and fit. But the singer has since found a way to keep herself on an even keel, keeping sugar-free snacks such as almonds and kale chips close by to manage those sugar-craving moments. Delta's boost in body confidence has been evident ever since she returned to the television screen earlier this year for the latest series of The Voice Australia.

DELTA Goodrem can’t wait to sing one of the biggest songs in musical history - Memory from Cats. Goodrem has the starring role of Grizabella in the production, that will open in Sydney on October 30. “The fact I get to be in Australia, performing every night is amazing,” she said. “I can’t wait to sing Memory. I’m in love with singing it, I don’t think I could possibly be more excited about singing that song.” Goodrem has another top 10 hit on her hands with her new single Wings, which is also getting massive airplay. “I think the song has got all the elements of what you would hope to imagine is my signature sound,” she said. “I’ve got my classical piano in there and I love the drama of the strings. But I’ve added in where I am as a woman, there is a little more gutso in it.”

She roused the TV world when she performed Wings on Sunday's episode of The Voice Australia. And on Monday Delta Goodrem reaped the rewards, with the single topping Australia's iTunes Charts. It comes a week after the song, the first single from her upcoming album, debuted last week on no. eight of the ARIA Charts. After being joined by a crew of violinists and backup singers, Delta strutted down to the stage and played out the tune on an awaiting piano. She was covered up in a black top and flare pants combo - a far cry from her look in the song's music video. The clip saw her flaunt some skin as she went braless in an extravagant purple gown, among many other ethereal looks. Her performance was well received by viewers, with many taking to Twitter to voice their satisfaction, including Today host Lisa Wilkins, who wrote: "@deltagoodrem NAILED it girlfriend!' It certainly wasn't just celebrities who were impressed, though, with comments like 'she smashed it that was awesome' being Tweeted en masse. She hopes to replicate the success of her first album, Innocent Eyes, which is the sixth highest selling album in Australia's history

DELTA Goodrem knew she needed a hit to kick start the next chapter of a music career which she has pursued for half her life. And the 30-year-old, signed to her Sony record deal when she was just 15, ticked off that goal as Wings claimed No. 1 on the ARIA charts this week. The song is her first chart topper in eight years and comes after two weeks of hard work by the determined entertainer. A raft of in-store signing sessions around the country coupled with her scene-stealing live performance of the song on The Voice last Sunday saw the song hit No. 1 on iTunes that night and stay there for the rest of the week until 5 Seconds Of Summer deposed her with their new single Fly Away on Friday. But it was the ARIA No. 1 that Team Delta were determined to claim after Wings had debuted at No. 8 two weeks ago, sliding to No. 26 last week. Goodrem co-wrote Wings with the DNA of Anthony Egizii and David Musumeci, the Australian hit makers who helped write and produce The Veronicas’ comeback smash You Ruin Me. A thrilled Goodrem said co-writing the song, her personal statement about letting go of her tightly-wound self control, wasn’t easy. “It’s a dance. I am strong-headed musician and I went in there wanting to bring my A game and so did the guys,” she said. “It wasn’t easy and we spent a lot of time on a whole other idea before we scrapped it.”
