Kelsea Ballerini’s “I Hate Love Songs” has had music video potential written all over it ever since it appeared on her Unapologetically LP last fall. Not surprisingly, the newly released video for the song is a playful romp that flouts the most tired and played-out romantic clichés. Directed by Tracie Goudie, the video – a sneak peak of which was given to CMA Fest attendees at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium on Saturday – starts with Ballerini lounging on a heart-shaped bed covered in confetti. But the romantic daydream doesn’t last long, as she proceeds to wreak havoc on one special moment after another, including interrupting a marriage proposal. Ballerini may not be cut out for kisses in the rain, but she ends things with the far less grandiose gesture of a phone call and a smile.

Kelsea Ballerini wins the red carpet once again! The country princess wowed in the CMA Awards red carpet on a bold pink gown that fit her perfectly! What a bold and beautiful look! Kelsea Ballerini, 25, stepped out onto the CMA Awards red carpet, and no one could look away! She dazzled in a bright pink gown by Zac Posen on the red carpet. Her hair was styled into a sleek and straight bob. Her makeup was perfect — soft and simple. She was definitely one of the best dressed of the night! Kelsea walked the red carpet with her adorable hubby Morgan Evans. This year, Kelsea is up for Female Vocalist of the Year. She was nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year and New Artist of the Year, but didn’t win. A win this year would mark her first CMAs win ever!

http://instagram.com/p/Bp_CVquBecw Kelsea Ballerini is one busy gal. Within the past two months alone, the 25-year-old country star debuted a joint single with The Chainsmokers, announced her first-ever headlining arena tour, released her boxing-themed "Miss Me More" music video, and performed at both the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show and the Country Music Awards. Despite her hectic schedule, the Nashville sweetheart still makes time for her gal pals, both those in the music industry and back home. http://instagram.com/p/Bnxc1uRBRZo For Kelsea — who spoke to POPSUGAR before hosting a Friendsgiving dinner party in partnership with the app Bumble BFF — maintaining close relationships with other strong women is a big priority. "I feel like as I get older, and especially in my mid-20s, I'm learning the power of female friendships and how valuable they are," she said.

Kelsea Ballerini applies a velvety-smooth touch to Shawn Mendes’ “Lost in Japan” in her new cover version of the pop hit, recorded in Nashville for Spotify Singles.
Written about a globe trotter who finds himself only a few hundred miles from his paramour, Mendes first released the funk-and-R&B-influenced tune as a single in the spring of 2018, and then followed up with an electro-dance remix by Zedd which reached the Top 15 on Billboard’s mainstream pop radio chart. Ballerini’s version looks to the original as a jumping off point, as she faithfully reimagines the track’s sincere account of spontaneous romance.
