The Duke and Duchess of Sussex sent Princess Charlotte a sweet message as they led royal well-wishes on her fourth birthday. Using their official Sussex Royal Instagram handle, Harry, 34, and Meghan, 37, left a comment on a Kensington Palace birthday post, writing: 'Happy Birthday Charlotte! Lots of love, H & M xo,' along with a balloon and a cake emoji. However some royal fans claimed Harry and Meghan's message was too informal, arguing the couple should have addressed Charlotte as 'Princess'. They noted the social media accounts run by the staff of the Queen, the Duke of York and Prince Charles all referred to the birthday girl as 'Princess Charlotte'. Harry and Meghan wrote a similar message to mark Louis' first birthday last month, in which they did not use the title 'Prince'.

We can all agree that Prince William and Kate Middleton’s children are absolutely adorable. Ever since their debuts outside St. Mary’s hospital people have enjoyed seeing them out and about at public events and stealing the spotlight at weddings. The world has become fascinated with the little ones and now have questions about their future. Many are especially curious about the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s only daughter, Princess Charlotte, and what her title will be when her dad is crowned king. Here’s more on that and why her future children won’t have royal titles. The young royal’s full name is Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana and her official title is Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge. However, once her father ascends the throne a few things will change and her title may be one of them.

Yesterday, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared some snaps of their family at the Chelsea Flower Show on the Royal family’s official Instagram page. They show Kate Middleton, Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis playing in the Royal Horticultural Society ‘Back to Nature’ Garden designed by the Duchess (with help from architects Andrée Davies and Adam White). But while everyone was oohing and aww'ing at the adorable royal children, we were cooing over Kate’s floral dress. Because it is clearly just as cute. And we have good news people, the floral-print number is super-affordable: £79 from & Other Stories. But, the bad news is, it’s already sold out...like most high street pieces Kate wears. Luckily, the Scandi brand has dropped several dresses for SS19 in the same floaty floral chiffon. There are mini and midi options, so you’ll be pretty much uniformed for summer.

Her royal parents, Princess William and Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, hosted a charity sailing race on Thursday, with their two eldest children watching the action from a boat nearby, People magazine reported. The 4-year-old and her big brother, Prince George, were alongside their grandparents, Mike and Carole Middleton. The outlet reported that when Middleton, 37, brought her children to a window above the stage where their prizes were to be awarded, Charlotte stole the show by sticking out her tongue instead of waving. Middleton quickly went into mom mode and tried to stop the cheeky princess from being so mischievous.

While Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge were busy on the water (William's boat came in third overall while Kate's team ultimately ended up in last place after being disqualified in one race) it was four-year-old Charlotte who was the real winner, causing a social media stir by pausing to stick her tongue out at royal watchers at the event, earning huge laughs from the crowd. Of course, this isn't Charlotte's first entry in the royal tongue-sticking-out hall of fame: she also famously channelled her uncle Harry when arriving to play her part as a bridesmaid at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding last year. Yesterday's foray earned extra points, though, for combining they tiny royal's brand of playful sass with chic, everyday style. In honor of the regatta, Princess Charlotte sported an appropriately nautical seersucker dress by Ralph Lauren with a pleated fit-and-flare skirt and a Peter Pan collar. And though the royal-approved blue and white striped version appears to be sold out, you can still snag the preppy look for the little princess in your life in pink and white seersucker. Even better, the style is currently on sale, so it's even easier to get the royal look.
