President Donald Trump is still in New Jersey at his Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster. Joining him for a brisk round this morning was former NFL quarterback and Pro Football Hall of Famer Brett Favre, who spent 20 years in the league with the Falcons, Packers, Jets and Vikings.
There were no reports on what they discussed, but Trump noted that Favre “hits it LONG!” and loves “Wisconsin, Mississippi, and Minnesota. Apparently there’s no love for his time spent in New York.
Before the golf, the Commander-in-Tweet fired off a series of tweets attacking Joe Biden for calling Arizona a state, railing against the “Fake Suppression Polls” and “Fake News,” and condemning “Crazy Nancy Pelosi” for dancing in Chinatown. He also posted a video from longtime supporter Jon Voight.
The President is expected to return to Washington later today to deal with the rest of the world. We’ll update as more communications roll in. The tweetstorm so far:

Speaking at his resort in Bedminster, New Jersey, at his second press conference in two days Saturday, President Donald Trump abruptly ended a briefing when a CBS reporter challenged him on a lie he has repeated multiple times. Trump called on White House Correspondent Paula Reid, and she asked, “Why do you keep saying you passed Veterans Choice?” Trump attempted to move on to another reporter, but Reid continued speaking. “It was passed in 2014.
But it was a false statement, sir.” Trump said earlier in the press conference that he had passed the Veterans Choice Act, which makes it possible for veterans to use their government health benefits at providers other than Veterans Administration hospitals. In reality, it was passed in 2014 under President Barack Obama. After Trump refused to answer the question multiple times, he cut off the briefing to the cheers of his supporters. Reid retweeted video of the exchange in its aftermath.

The US government has proposed changing the definition of a showerhead to allow increased water flow, following complaints from President Donald Trump about his hair routine. Under a 1992 law, showerheads in the US are not allowed to produce more than 2.5 gallons (9.5l) of water per minute. The Trump administration wants this limit to apply to each nozzle, rather than the overall fixture. Consumer and conservation groups argue that it is wasteful and unnecessary. The changes were proposed by the Department of Energy on Wednesday following complaints by Mr Trump at the White House last month. "So showerheads - you take a shower, the water doesn't come out. You want to wash your hands, the water doesn't come out. So what do you do? You just stand there longer or you take a shower longer? Because my hair - I don't know about you, but it has to be perfect. Perfect," he said.

President Trump dismissed The Atlantic’s reporting that he called dead U.S. war heros “losers” and also slammed former chief of staff John Kelly as “unable to function” in the role. President Trump on Friday denounced former White House Chief of Staff John Kelly as a “tough-guy” who “didn’t do a good job” and got fired. Kelly, a former Marine Corps general, has been conspicuously silent as Trump and his allies deny a magazine story that says the president made disparaging remarks about military service and war dead, including at the grave of Kelly’s son. “I know John Kelly, he was with me, didn’t do a good job, had no temperament and ultimately he was petered out,” Trump told reporters at a White House press briefing. “He got — was exhausted. This man was totally exhausted, he wasn’t even able to function in the last number of months. He was not able to function. He was sort of a tough-guy. By the time he got eaten up in this world — it’s a different world than he was used to, he was unable to function.”
