(Bloomberg) -- Former United Nations Ambassador Haley, who is trailing former President Trump by a wide margin in the race for the Republican presidential nomination in November, has indicated that she may not support Trump even if she loses. Promises sworn to the Republican National Committee (RNC) to support party candidates are no longer binding, Haley said.
"I'm going to make my own decisions," Haley said in an interview with NBC that aired on the 3rd. "But that's not what I'm thinking about right now."
"The RNC is no longer the RNC that it once was," Haley said. Haley has continued to criticize the RNC since Trump nominated his daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, to chair the RNC. Trump said last month that Michael Watley and Lara Trump, who support Trump's claim that he won the 2020 presidential election, would serve as co-chairs of the RNC.

[Sydney Current Affairs] Former President Trump, who is aiming for a comeback in the US presidential election in November, has suggested expelling Australian Ambassador to the US Kevin Rudd, causing a stir.
[Understand at a glance] Changes in Trump's approval rating
It appears that Mr. Rudd threatened retaliation because he had harshly criticized Mr. Trump in the past. The Albany Government has highly praised Rudd's work as a former prime minister and has emphasized that he will continue in his role.
Mr. Rudd, who has been serving as ambassador since last year, previously criticized Mr. Trump as ``the most destructive president in history'' and ``a traitor to the Western world.'' Asked about this in an interview with Britain's GB News on the 19th, Trump said: "If he's hostile, he's not going to be in office very long." ``I don't know him well, but I hear he's a bit of an unpleasant guy and a dull person,'' he said.
