For some, it’s an even harder journey, because they don’t have their parents with them.
One children’s home on the eastern frontline in the city of Luhansk had to relocate hundreds of miles across the country to the western city of Lviv.

UNHCR special envoy Jolie was in the country on a humanitarian mission, having surprised Ukrainians earlier in a bakery in the same city near the Polish border.
