The Grimaldi clan, which hosted last December two new stars, with the birth of the Princess Gabriella and hereditary prince Jacques, has everything a fine team in the wake of Prince Albert II of Monaco, passionate sportsman of Bobsleigh (He also disputed the 10th Monaco Historic Bob Race January 23 in St. Moritz) and pillar of the International Olympic Committee, but also, now, his wife Charlene, a former top-level swimmer, there reigns a real culture Sport. Orphans of a dead father by indulging in her passion for powerboating, Charlotte Casiraghi, cavalier jumping seasoned and Pierre Casiraghi, rally driver and sailor leaving for new adventures, perfectly embody the talent pool in sports, the side of the clan of the Princess Caroline of Hanover, where their younger half-sister Princess Alexandra is becoming the rising star: This week, the lady of 15 years was playing an international competition in his favorite discipline - figure skating. It is with particular emotion that Princess Alexandra of Hanover, daughter of Princess Caroline and Prince Ernst August of Hanover, took part this week in the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) in 2015 winter (short program presented Monday free program Wednesday) in Dornbirn, Austria nearby town of the Swiss and German borders. And for good reason: she was designated flagship of the (very limited) Monegasque delegation. "It was just great. I felt a very strong emotion to wear the Monegasque flag and to represent my country at this event," she told about it to our colleagues from Monaco-Matin via Stéphan Maggi, the Monegasque Olympic Committee. In Austria, Alexandra could count on the support of its first fans, in the stands and behind the scenes: her mother Princess Caroline and Prince Ernst August brother Junior were there to encourage him, less than a month after his participation in an Ice Gala in late December in Italy, where she had shone despite a small fall during his performance. The same outfit (black dress with white polka dots, red lace and darling matching), Princess Alexandra of Hanover skated Monday to sound The Mooche (Cotton Club) John Barry and Bitty Boopy Betty Pink Martini to present its program free, in a very tough competition: in total, 900 athletes representing 45 nations will compete in EYOF 2015, and the young Monegasque dealing with competitors who, for some, more than ten years of practice, while she only started skating in 2010, "for recreation", with three times a week. Whatever the outcome, Princess Alexandra of Hanover, who said skate without pressure and without setting a target, lives for her passion, and has also spent a year: she joined last summer a sports sector studies in Annecy, and skating every day since September. "This was a significant change [she had to leave the family nest of Clos Saint Martin and her school in the principality, Ed], and that allowed me already, within months, to progress. (...) I count on making a logical progression," she observed quietly.

The youngest of Caroline of Monaco has grown. Princess Alexandra of Hanover became a teenager fan of figure skating, she assiduously practice. We remember to Princess Alexandra of Hanover, while she was still a mischievous little girl who made faces perched royal balcony during official events Monaco. But this time seems today far. Today aged 15, the Princess of Hanover, is the youngest child of Caroline of Monaco. Niece of Albert of Monaco, it is therefore also cousin Gabriella and Jacques, the princely twins, presented today to the world. Between two official duties due to his rank of Royal Highness, the teenager is dedicated to its passion for figure skating. A sport that has a long history and a very good level, as was reported Monaco Morning in March. So it is natural that it occurred on 29 December at the Ice Gala Bolzano, alongside Olympic and world champions in the discipline. And if Princess Alexandra of Hanover has not medal hung on the lapel of his suit, it was not unworthy either. We knew the Snow Queen, here is the Ice Princess.
