Avril Lavigne is staying strong as she fights Lyme disease. The singer, 30, took fans inside a doctor's appointment via Instagram on Tuesday. "On my way to good health #TakingCareOfMyself #F---LymeDisease," she captioned a photo of her arm and 13 vials of blood. Lavigne's next photo shows her smiling and resting on a treatment chair. "This journey continues ..... Just reach up, don't give up until you've touch the sky ..... We were all meant to fly .... #DrOfficePhotoShoot," she wrote. The inspiring caption includes lyrics from her song "Fly", which she recorded in support of the Special Olympics and performed at the organization's World Games in July.

Avril Lavigne is still battling Lyme disease – and now the singer is helping others struggling with the disease as well. The singer marked her 31st birthday Sunday by launching a 5-week campaign through the Avril Lavigne Foundation to raise funds and awareness for children and young adults who have Lyme disease. Teaming up with digital fundraising platform Prizeo, Lavigne will spend time with a grand prize winner who will also have a speaking role in her new animated film Charming. "I'm excited that this year's campaign is supporting people with Lyme disease and helping others to better understand this issue," she said in statement. "My fans are always so supportive and ready to give back; I look forward to coming together for an issue that's so close to me."

When Avril Lavigne released the video for the hyper-kawaii trainwreck of a track “Hello Kitty” two years ago, fans were confused. Aside from the claims of cultural appropriation—Billboard were just one of many publications to assert that the track squeezed “Gwen Stefani's Japan fetishization into an even more unseemly package”—the track introduced a markedly different Lavigne to the character her fans had come to know. Where were the scarlet streaks in her hair? What happened to the “SK8R Boi”? Was that dubstep? Let Go is a difficult album to follow-up. But try this: Shortly after writing sessions began on Avril Ramona Lavigne’s follow-up record, her Grandfather passed away. During this time, submerged under the pressure of releasing a new record, the toil of fame, and this new loss, Avril Lavigne entered a deep and dark depression. She would later be found dead at her home and her family, record label, and anyone else in the know kept quiet. Pretty convincing right? When you remember that skin blemishes are permanent and unchanging from the day you’re born till the day you die, the above is plain and irrefutable evidence that Avril Lavigne was replaced with an imposter. The story doesn’t end here though. If you’re still not convinced then check this: Just last year “fake” Avril Lavigne was questioned about whether or not she was a clone on live TV. And guess what happened? She fumbled the entire performance.

Their marriage may be over, but Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger are still making beautiful music. Lavigne shared photos in the studio with the Nickelback rocker to her Instagram on Sunday. It appears the pair still plans to collaborate, despite announcing their separation in early September. "YeeHaw! Writing with Chad today," Lavigne, 31, captioned a photo of herself strumming a guitar in a hat.

Newly single Avril Lavigne went pumpkin shopping with Ryan Cabrera in Beverly Hills on Tuesday. The 31-year-old pop-punk diva was certainly in the Halloween spirit wearing a black sheer skeleton-printed mini-dress and Converse low-tops. Unfortunately, the eight-time Grammy nominee failed to notice her slip beneath falling down and exposing her right breast. Avril's sighting with the 33-year-old singer came a month after she announced the amicable end of her second marriage, to Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger.
