After several weeks of standout performances, standing ovations and misty-eyed judges reaching for the magic button, Britain’s Got Talent 2016 finally has its five Golden Buzzer acts. This is the lucky quintet who – regardless of what happens during the rest of the auditions – have an automatic pass through to the live finals later this series, after winning those all-important votes from the judges (and Ant and Dec). The 12-year-old singing sensation appeared in the very first show of the series, and wasted no time in making Amanda all emotional (not to mention millions of viewers) with her powerful rendition of the Wicked song Defying Gravity – establishing herself as an early favourite to win that coveted trip to the Royal Variety Performance. We’re expecting something similarly sensational in the live shows. Age: 12 From: Widnes Talent: Singer Golden Buzzer: Amanda What you need to know: Beau is a 12 year old with an ambition to record her own music. The 12-year-old admitted that she found the audition "nerve-wracking" but was over the moon when Amanda Holden pressed the Golden Buzzer. Speaking to OK!, she said: "It was a dream come true. I cried! It was amazing!" Beau added that while she was nervous to perform on the day, she wasn't scared of the judges. "They were all really nice. People say Simon Cowell's a bit scary but he liked me so I wasn't afraid of him!" "I like Wayne [Woodward], and Jasmine [Elock] and the Garnetts. And Trip Hazard, I love a doggy act," she told the publication. "I wouldn't be bothered if he beat me as he's just so cute. I'm going to give it my best shot but I'm not really thinking about winning."

Another night, another Britain’s Got Talent semi-final, and Wednesday’s show saw 12-year-old Beau Dermott become the seventh act through to the grand final on Saturday. Ant and Dec revealed that Beau had gone through following a dramatic fourth semi-final which saw Alesha Dixon really piss off viewers with her red buzzer actions. The young singer was Amanda Holden’s Golden Buzzer act from the auditions where she won over everyone with a performance of Defying Gravity from the musical Wicked, for her semi-final performance she performed Someone Like You from the show Jekyll and Hyde.
