Every now and then, Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, is spotted out in public off-duty, living her life with her three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. This time, the group was seen on a fun pottery painting outing. An Instagram user posted that she saw them at Mable’s Paint Pot, a fairy tale-esque pottery painting shop in Kings Lynn, a short distance from the Cambridges' country home Anmer Hall, where the family has been quarantining. http://instagram.com/p/BvoYGfRDChJ A Kate Middleton fan account posted a screenshot from the Instagram where Prince Louis appears opening the shop's door. According to the account, the user said the family decorated pottery together and described Kate as being very protective of her children. http://instagram.com/p/BPvq9PVhGyv This, by the way, is what the pottery shop looks like: http://instagram.com/p/B0t5b6CDPoO The Duchess and her family have spent the past couple months in Norfolk, where they've been riding out the coronavirus pandemic. Kate spoke to the BBC in April about quarantining with George, 7; Charlotte, 5; and Louis, 2. "Children have got such stamina," she said. "I don't know how, honestly. You get to the end of the day and you write a list of all the things you've done in that day. You've pitched a tent, take the tent down again, cook, bake, you get to the end of the day. They've had a lovely time. It's amazing how much you can cram into one day, that's for sure."

Kate Middleton and Prince William live in an apartment at Kensington Palace, which, frankly, sounds somewhat casual. Like, how fancy can an apartment possibly be, right? Speaking on True Royalty's Royal Beat (via The Daily Mail) royal author Christopher Warwick said that Kate and William's home is "has 20 rooms from the basement to the attic," and "it is not a small house." He also discouraged people from assuming the place is modest based on the "apartment" title, cause, uh, it's not. "All of these royal residences at Kensington Palace are called apartments, which of course makes people immediately think they are flats like the American term for an apartment. They are not. If you think of Kensington Place in a way it is built around three courtyards. If you kind of think of them as being these wonderful red brick terrace houses. Because they are all joined, but separate houses." Meanwhile, author author Ingrid Seward says "It's enormous... and it's like a piece of countryside in London." So, in the mood for some details? Turns out Kate and Wills' "apartment" is four stories, has its own walled garden, five "reception rooms" whatever those are, nine "staff bedrooms," an elevator, a gym, luggage rooms, and multiple drawing rooms. So yeah, you know, just normal stuff you'd find in a regular apartment!!!!! This content is imported from {embed-name}. Kate Middleton teamed up with the National Portrait Gallery to launch "Hold Still," a community project that will culminate in a digital exhibition. The Duchess asked people from around the UK to submit photographic portraits depicting their lives amid the coronavirus pandemic, and received a whopping 31,598 pictures. http://instagram.com/p/CEgbkyuF2AW Now, the Duchess of Cambridge is teasing the soon-to-launch exhibition, for which 100 images have been hand-picked from the thousands of submissions. In a video on Instagram, she introduced the project's panel of judges, who helped her select the chosen few. It seems to have been edited together from a video call ("it's going to be so difficult to edit this down," the Duchess quips at the beginning), and features panelists Nicholas Cullinan, the director of the Gallery; Lemn Sissay, a writer and poet; Ruth May, England's chief nursing officer; and Maryam Wahid, 2018's Portrait of Britain winner. Together, they reflect on their experiences with the project—watch it below. http://instagram.com/p/CDhO2ejFoJ1 The Duchess said in a statement, "I’ve been so overwhelmed by the public’s response to 'Hold Still,' the quality of the images has been extraordinary, and the poignancy and the stories behind the images have been equally as moving as well. So I wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has entered and taken part. And a big thank you to my fellow judges. I hugely appreciate the time and dedication that they have shown towards the project." http://instagram.com/p/CB8-3BWlEIs

Prince Harry may have once earned the nickname of "party prince" – but it turns out that Prince William could have just as easily carried the same moniker. Party organizer Tony Truman revealed that William and Kate Middleton visited Pacha superclub on the Spanish party island of Ibiza during the early days of their romance. In an Instagram tribute to DJ Erick Morillo, who died on Sept. 1 at 49 years old, Truman shared that William enjoyed the experience so much he even called the following day to thank him for arranging an "amazing" night. “HRH Prince William came to Ibiza & I had the pleasure to help arrange his party plans while on the Island with Kate & their entourage," Truman wrote. http://instagram.com/p/CEoimOSgfxw “I asked Eric & (Pacha director) @francisco_ferrerfr to look after him," he continued. "They obviously done a great job as the next day I get a call from HRH William (like u casually do) and Wills says thank you Tony I was not a fan of house music until last night & your friend Eric was amazing 🎧🎉🎧 now I love it 🙏🏻” "I was blown away not just by Willls casually calling me, but that Eric had got the Royal RnB loving posse into House Music 👏🏼👏🏼" While Truman says the visit occurred "many moons ago (12) or so years I think," William and Kate, both 38, are known to have visited Ibiza in 2006 alongside Kate's younger siblings Pippa, 36, and James, 33, — with Kate and the rest of the partying royals pictured sunbathing on a luxury speedboat amid the island's turquoise seas.

A woman's body was found in a pond on the grounds of Kensington Palace, Kate Middleton and Prince William's London home, on August 29, the Independent reports. Police retrieved the body from the Round Pond in Kensington Gardens, which is directly in front of the palace. The woman, who has yet to be correctly identified, was initially believed to be then-missing artist Endellion Lycett Green, and police wrongly notified her family of her death. Her brother, John Lycett Green, subsequently informed friends that she had been found "alive, safe and well." In a statement to Sky News, a spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said, "Police were called to Kensington Gardens W2 at 7.09am on Saturday, 29 August to a report of the concern for the safety of a woman." They continued, "The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The death is being treated as unexplained at this time, but is not thought to be suspicious. A post-mortem examination will take place in due course." The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were not at Kensington Palace when the body was discovered, as they were vacationing with children Prince George, Prince Louis, and Princess Charlotte at Balmoral, the Queen's Scottish estate. According to Sky, it's unknown whether any other members of the royal family—such as Princess Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank, who also live at the palace—were there when the body was found.
