She was recently named Billboard's top moneymaker, raking in nearly $40M last year. But instead of living lavishly, Taylor Swift enjoys more homely pursuits. The 24-year-old dressed up warmly as she went shopping for art supplies and fabric in Soho, New York on Wednesday. The I Knew Were Trouble singer looked stylish in an olive green coat paired with tights and black Rag & Bone booties. She covered her short blonde bob with a blue knit beanie and carried a black leather handbag. The star sported a perfectly made-up face with coral lipstick and brown eyeliner. Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that Taylor is No. 1 on Billboard's Top 40 Money Makers list, bringing in a whopping $39,699,575.60. Her record label Big Machine also announced the Begin Again singer was back 'in the studio' while responding to one of her 39.4 million Twitter fans. Taylor reunited with producers Max Martin and Johan Shellback for her fifth studio album, which is reportedly due out in 'the fourth quarter' of this year.

Radio.com caught up with Austin Mahone backstage, briefly, before a show hosted by Chicago's B96 (a Radio.com station) and learned a thing or two about the pop star that even his Mahomies may not even be aware of. Mahone told Radio.com that “Banga Banga” was a “baby step,” that he’s still finishing his long-expected debut album and shared some advice he got from Taylor Swift while opening for her on the Red Tour. “With Taylor Swift, she puts on a two hour show,” Mahone said. “The whole thing is a story and it keeps people drawn in to it so they don’t get bored. I can definitely learn a lot from that.” Ms. Swift also told Mahone to be careful who he hangs out with. “She’s always told me to keep a tight circle,” he explained. “And always be close to my friends and family that I’ve been with since the beginning.”
