It seems that a Taylor Swift and Adele collaboration isn’t on the way after all. Fans were convinced that the pair are set to release a joint track after a song titled ‘Broken Hearts’ was apparently registered online – with both artists named as writers. The track was spotted on a SESAC (the Society of European Stage Authors and Composers) registry, one of the oldest performance rights organisations in the United States. Titled as ‘Broken Hearts’ and, under an ‘AKA titles’ section, ‘Shattered Hearts’, the song’s writers were credited as Adele Laurie Blue Adkins and Taylor Alison Swift. The most prominent fan theory is that the track will appear on the forthcoming ‘Red (Taylor’s Version)’, the next album that Swift is re-recording as part of her well-publicised dispute over ownership of her masters. Adele’s fans are still waiting for her fourth album – and her first since 2015’s hugely successful ’25’. In October last year, the ‘Someone Like You’ singer offered a progress update during her opening monologue while presenting Saturday Night Live, explaining why she was appearing as the host and not musical guest. “My album’s not finished, and I’m also too scared to be both,” she told the audience. “I’d rather put on some wigs …have a glass of wine or six and just see what happens.”

Do not mess with Taylor Swift, y’all! Her fans hold a grudge like no one’s business when their girl has been wronged. Of course, you can’t really blame anyone for getting upset watching this particular clip…
Ever since the inside takes on Ellen DeGeneres went public — the widely whispered Hollywood talk that she was the opposite of her nice, positive TV persona, allegedly treating her employees and everyone else like trash — folks have been looking back at her old interviews with a different eye.
The first was that classic Dakota Johnson interview in which the 50 Shades Of Grey star calls out the daytime diva for lying about being invited to her party. But in the past months, folks have found tons of awkward moments in which celebs look sincerely uncomfortable. You can even find multiple supercuts on YouTube.
Now a particular 2013 interview has resurfaced in which Ellen just mercilessly badgers Taylor about her love life. It would be one thing if it felt like the Blank Slate singer was in on the bit, but she actually just keeps expressing her discomfort and asking the host to stop. Which of course she does not.
The interview begins with Ellen insisting the pop star was dating Zac Efron despite multiple denials. After the comedian calls the Baywatch star her “boyfriend” and asking incessantly about him, Taylor reiterates her denial, saying:
“I haven’t talked to him in a while… ’cause we didn’t date.”
To which Ellen responds:
“Yes you did! Why do you deny it?”
Taylor insists:
“Cause we didn’t!”
But that isn’t the end of the dating talk. Tay next has to play a half-ass sort of game in which she looks at photos she’s taken with celebs and has to ring a bell when one comes up showing a guy she’s been with. You know, the one you play with all your friends…
Taylor over and over tells Ellen, “I don’t want to,” but it just happens anyway. Eventually it reaches a fever pitch in which Taylor says:
“Do you know how bad this makes me feel? Stop it, stop it, STOP.”
The audience just laughs, but remember — this is 2013. They’re assuming Ellen is just so sweet, and Taylor must be in on the joke. In retrospect, it just looks like someone being tortured on stage for over four minutes.

Taylor Swift has congratulated Arlo Parks on her Hyundai Mercury Music Prize win for her debut album, ‘Collapsed In Sunbeams’. The London singer-songwriter was named the winner of the 2021 edition of the annual award at the ceremony at the Eventim Hammersmith Apollo last night (September 9). Parks shared a video of her acceptance speech on Twitter earlier today, writing: “I won the 2021 Hyundai @mercuryprize!!! These moments are always so complicated to describe but right now I feel this warm, heavy sense of happiness deep inside – my heart is still pounding, I still keep welling up randomly, this means an awful awful lot to me.” Swift replied to the tweet, telling Parks: “This is so well deserved. Your album is stunning.” See the interaction below now. The pop star wasn’t the only artist congratulating the British musician after her win. Alfie Templeman called Parks “an absolutely incredible artist in every single way”, adding that her win was “so deserved”. The London Symphony Orchestra, whose album ‘Promises’ with Floating Points and Pharoah Sanders was also nominated, offered their congratulations to Parks.

Speaking in a new interview, the ‘Bad Habits’ singer talked about how he’s taken a few famous friends to his local, The Station in Framlingham, Suffolk, including Swift and Stormzy. “I took Stormzy to my local pub and it was one of those ones where the locals were trying to be funny with him but it just ended up being like, ‘Oh no, can you not say that please,'” Sheeran told Jordan and Perri on KISS Breakfast. He continued: “I took Taylor there once, but when I took Taylor no one really clocked who it was, it was like a week later that the person behind the bar was like, ‘Did you bring Taylor Swift in here last week?'” Sheeran, who yesterday (September 10) released ‘Shivers’, another new track from his forthcoming album, also talked about the pressure he faces when it comes to releasing new music when there are so many popular new artists around. “If you’re an artist coming out with new music and there’s a song like ‘Good 4 U’, Olivia Rodrigo or even like Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber, like when you’re coming out with new music and there’s a song that’s streaming four times the amount of the No2 song…” he began.
