The "Shake it Off" singer took to Instagram's new Snapchat-like stories feature once again for some feline-related fun, this time commemorating the apparent holiday on Monday. Swift posted a quick video of herself dancing around and lip-syncing to Shawn Mendes' "Treat You Better" while decked out in a pretty impressive dual-kitten sweatshirt. "Partying cause Shawn's bday & International Cat Day," she wrote over the video

She's a chart-topping popstrel, idol to countless fans, and as it turns out, also has a bit of a green thumb. Taylor Swift on Thursday shared an Instagram video of herself having a 'garden party' with her parents, Andrea and Scott Kingsley Swift. 'Doing some major gardening. This is what we used to do, back on the farm,' the 26-year-old told her fans. 'Except not with kale.'

Parental guidance. Taylor Swift traded her squad in favor of a “garden party” with her parents on Thursday, August 11. The singer, 26, uploaded an Instagram Stories video of herself gardening with her mom and dad in Rhode Island. In the since-deleted video (Instagram Stories automatically delete after 24 hours), Swift, 26, can be heard saying on-camera: “[We’re doing] some major gardening today. This is what we used to do back on the farm — except not with kale.” Her green day comes after a dramatic few weeks. As previously reported by Us Weekly, Swift took a break from social media after Kim Kardashian and Kanye West put the singer on blast about whether she knew about his controversial track “Famous.”

Swift was cool with fans and didn’t brag about being a pop star Monday when she reported for jury duty in Nashville. She was also dismissed from service on an aggravated rape, kidnapping and domestic abuse trial because a judge decided she couldn't be impartial. "She asked to be left off out of concern for an upcoming trial in Denver where she was — she used the term 'groped' — by a fan at a meet-and-greet," Ken Whitehouse, spokesman for the Davidson County prosecutor’s office, told the Associated Press. Swift told the judge she’d be happy to serve on any other kind of case, the AP said. She was sued in federal court in September 2015 by a former Denver radio personality who says he lost his job after she accused him of grabbing her butt during a meet-and-greet in 2013, the Associated Press reported last year. David Mueller said in his suit that one of his superiors at the radio station was the real culprit.

Taylor recently split with Brit actor Tom Hiddleston after just a three-month romance, and we don't want to presume this is a post-break-up hair makeover, but.... Whatever the reasons for her new do (actually does a girl even need a reason?), this super-cool, layered shag made its Instagram debut on Sunday (25 September). It was created by top celebrity colourist Tracey Cunningham and Irish-born hairdresser, Gareth Bromell. "Since you all love @taylorswift new little shag with beautiful colour by @traceycunningham1," Gareth posted. "Here... another look."
