Figure skating coach Svetlana Panova told RIA Novosti that she has not yet decided to continue working with the bronze medalist of the Junior Grand Prix Final of the 2017/18 season Anastasia Tarakanova, who left Evgeny Plushenko Academy.
Earlier, Plushenko said that he and the coach of his academy, Ksenia Ivanova, stopped working with Tarakanova due to the over-emotionality of the athlete.
“The final decision on the resumption of joint work with Nastya has not yet been made,” Panova said by phone.
Tarakanova, who turned 15 last Sunday, came from Volgograd to Moscow, where she began to train with Panova, after which she joined the group of Eteri Tutberidze, under whose leadership she won the bronze of the Junior Grand Prix Final, where she worked in the Ivanova group.
