More than 500 athletes from 80 countries will compete, with Pan Am Games gold medallist Ellie Black leading the Canadian contingent. Joining Black on the Canadian women's team are Brooklyn Moors of Cambridge, Ont., Vancouver's Shallon Olsen, and Isabela Onyshko of Minnedosa, Man. On the men's side, Canada will be represented by: Zachary Clay of Langley, B.C., Rene Cournoyer of Repentigny, Que., Kevin Lytwyn of Burlington, Ont., North Vancouver's Scott Morgan, Edmonton's Jackson Payne and Thierry Pellerin of Lévis, Que.

2017 World Gymnastics Championships - U.S. Women's Qualifying Round
After five subdivisions of women's qualifications, Mai Murakami finished on top of the all-around standings with a 55.933. Ragan Smith finished just behind her with a 55.932 and Ellie Black landed in third with a 55.766.
The top 24 will qualify for the all-around final while the top eight on each event qualify to event finals. The two-per-country rule applies to both.
