Right before the ball dropped, Cyrus, 21, took the stage with Ryan Seacrest, the host of Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve. And though it didn't air on TV, the chart-topper and the American Idol host locked lips as New York rang in 2014. Cyrus shared a photo of the duo's smooch at midnight that was somehow not seen while Seacrest hosted "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve" special Tuesday, in which Cyrus was a guest performer. Yay!!!! They caught our NY midnight kiss! Happy New Years @ryanseacrest & thank you for having me @mileycyrus Happy New Year

Miley Cyrus' Bangerz tour is due to start on the holiday and she's been working around the clock to put the finishing touches on the show. The former Disney darling gave fans a first glimpse inside the tour when she posted a twitpic of rehearsals Thursday, Jan 16. She captioned the candid shot, "#bangerztour2014" In the image, the "Wrecking Ball" singer is surrounded by backup dancers and is shown singing on stage. “I don’t have a hard time making fun of myself,” said Miley Cyrus, the foam-fingered starlet known for the twinkle in her eye and the twerk in her heart. On Wednesday, the outlandish pop star took part in a teleconference to publicize and elaborate upon her coming Bangerz Tour, which is set to launch on Valentine’s Day at Rogers Arena in Vancouver. As for some of the visual components, Cyrus characterized the 3-D imaging as “so dope.” Costumes, it was revealed, have been worked upon by well-known fashion designers Phillipe and David Blond, Marc Jacobs and Jeremy Scott, whose creations in particular were singled out by the fun-loving exhibitionist as “really insane.” As well, past designs by the legendary Bob Mackie will be employed. Cyrus characterized those pieces as “really sick. “Clothes for me, or the lack thereof, say a lot,” she summed up. While not responding directly to a Globe and Mail question on lip-synching, the dusky-voiced Wrecking Ball singer said the 90-minute productions would not be heavily choreographed – except for the stunts opening and closing each show – and that her vocals would be the focus. The concerts would be “completely live,” she said. “I don’t rehearse too much,” Cyrus acknowledged. “I want every night to feel like a different show,” she continued, adding that the production was built around “me and my ADD.”

Last night, Miley Cyrus got unplugged on MTV's Unplugged. The big story was that she did a duet with Madonna. Miley could have brought in many different artists to be a part of her Unplugged special, so why Madonna? “I wanted to have someone here that wasn’t the obvious and something that was different than just being on my record, something the people wouldn’t really expect,” she recently told MTV News. “And even I didn’t expect Madonna to be necessarily down to do something like Unplugged with me. So the fact that she’s here, kind of doing this hoedown thing with me now, is unbelievable. I’m so stoked.” Miley certainly has no problem expressing her sexuality, especially when she’s on stage, which is what Madonna has been known for for practically her entire career. “I grew up listening to Madonna and a lot of what she represented for me is what I try to rep to girls now, is not being afraid of sexuality and really being who you want to be and doing what you want to do,” Miley said.

Jay Leno asked her what she might say to Justin Bieber, whose antics lately have landed him in plenty of legal hot water as he faces assault charges in Canada and DUI charges in Miami. "You've got a lot of money. Pay people to make sure you don't get into trouble," Miley said. "Party at your house." She added, "Buy a house. Add a club to it." Miley Cyrus rocked a full denim ensemble on 'The Tonight Show With Jay Leno.'
