Enako appears on mainstream Japanese television as well as in-game advertisements. She is making a name for herself as Japan’s most well-known cosplayer. During this year’s Comiket, she participated in a photoshoot for fans. However, since she’s so popular, Enako held a big photo scrum, encircling herself with photographers. Since around 2012, Enako has been a popular cosplayer, but in the past few years, her popularity has exploded. Last night, she appeared on Downtown DX, one of Japan’s most popular variety talk shows and astonished all with her sizeable salary. Cosplay has turned into serious money for her. In December alone, she made over $90,000. The show’s other celebrity guests were surprised!

Diana of Themyscira isn’t just a goddess who’s destined to save humankind, she’s also a stellar athlete. Gymnast Jordan Chiles took to the floor during this year’s U.S. Championships to honor everything Wonder Woman. And while she may not have taken home the gold, she did steal our hearts. During the 2018 USA Gymnastics Championships, Chiles sported a sparkly and gorgeous Wonder Woman leotard, taking inspiration from Gal Gadot’s movie costume. She also used the Wonder Woman theme song during her floor routine—becoming the latest professional athlete to show off their inner nerd at the highest levels of competition. Olympic champion Simone Biles took home the gold in every category, but she didn’t cosplay on the floor...so I’d say she didn’t win every award.
