On Friday, July 17, Princess Beatrice walked down the aisle and said “I do” to Edoardo “Edo” Mapelli Mozzi in a secret ceremony. The couple tied the knot at a small 20-person service at the Royal Chapel of All Saints at the Royal Lodge in Windsor. On the guest list were only those closest to the bride and groom, including Edo’s son Christopher Woolf, known as Wolfie. As the wife of Edo, Princess Beatrice is now a stepmother to the four-year-old. And in a new wedding picture, Wolfie, who was his father’s best man, was spotted. The picture was recently published by wedding florist Rob Van Helden Floral Design’s Instagram. The caption read: “What a week....!!! Thank you SO, SO MUCH for all your most kind messages.... “SO grateful for the honour and privilege to have been part of the wedding of Her Royal Highness, Princess Beatrice of York and Mr. Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. http://instagram.com/p/CCzE3Z8BECV “Wishing them a life filled with love and happiness [sic].” The photo was later deleted and so far, only four official photographs from the royal wedding have been shared.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot; Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank, too. Queen Elizabeth II became Gan-Gan to a few more heirs (hello, 2-year-old Prince Louis and 15-month-old Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor!) and—not sure, you might have heard?—Harry decided it was high time for a career change. And with so many of her cousins dominating the news cycle, what with their international tours and headline-making interviews and even bigger headline-making hair changes, Princess Beatrice, the eldest daughter of Prince Andrew (racking up his own less-than-favorable clips of late thanks to his ties with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein) and Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, remained relatively quiet. It wasn't until her little sis, Eugenie, wed longtime love Brooksbank in October 2018 that royal watchers thought to ask of the royal, "Hey, what is she up to?" The answer, it turned out, was falling in love. Sometime in the fall of 2018, Beatrice, now ninth in line to the British throne, was acquainted, or, rather, reacquainted with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, a 37-year-old millionaire property developer and son of an Italian count. The relationship, while too new to debut at her sister's all-important Windsor Castle vows, first leaked out not quite two years ago, when The Sun shared they were two-months deep into a laugh-filled romance. They became officially official in March 2019 when Beatrice, vice president of partnerships and strategy at technology company Afiniti, arrived to a gala at The National Portrait Gallery in London with Mozzi on her arm. As the move would suggest, she and the Edinburgh University grad had grown quite serious in those first six months together, with some in the royal's inner circle predicting she just might be the next princess bride. "They've been on holidays together and Beatrice introduced him to Fergie and her dad," an insider told The Sun. "Things are moving very quickly and it wouldn't surprise anyone if they got engaged within a short period of time." Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi: Romance Rewind A year does not a fast-tracked engagement make. But Beatrice's decision to accept Mozzi's bespoke Shaun Lane round-cut diamond during a September 2019 Italian getaway—marrying him 10 months later on July 17 some two weeks after Britain's coronavirus-related wedding restrictions were lifted—was downright speedy in comparison to her previous entanglements. Save for a brief teenage romance with Paolo Liuzzo that ultimately unraveled when an assault and battery charge stemming from his involvement in the 2002 death of a college student became public, Beatrice spent the whole of her late teens and twenties with former Uber executive Dave Clark. A psychology student at Maine's Bowdoin College and son of a well-off corporate lawyer, Clark's first royal connection was actually Prince William, the duo becoming friends during a study abroad program through the University of Edinburgh. Years later, the future king would introduce his school chum to younger cousin Beatrice at a 2006 party thrown by Pierce Brosnan's now 36-year-old son Sean Brosnan and, in a boon to the prince's matchmaking skills, the twosome hit it off immediately. As Beatrice studied history at Goldsmiths, University of London, Clark served as head of astronaut relations at Virgin Atlantic and together they built up quite the circle of well-heeled friends, the likes of Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis, Ellie Goulding and Karlie Kloss (who inadvertently revealed Beatrice's private Instagram when sharing her own engagement news in 2018) assuming they would one day be dancing alongside Queen Elizabeth at the couple's wedding.

Princess Beatrice couldn't have looked healthier or happier as she pulled off the ultimate secret royal wedding last month. "She looked absolutely stunning, and I am so happy for her and Edo,” her friend, nutritionist Gabriela Peacock tells PEOPLE. "They are the perfect match and are so in love. I'm delighted for her." http://instagram.com/p/BjP7A0cALLB While Peacock, whose daughter is Beatrice's godchild, couldn’t be at her friend’s recent nuptials to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi due to the coronavirus lockdown, she did help her get wedding-ready. "She is one of my very close friends and of course, I love the fact that as a nutritionist I can help my friends and clients," she says. http://instagram.com/p/Bo1s1QUh09- Beatrice is not the first royal to be associated with the Czech-born wellness expert and founder of GP Nutrition. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry reportedly sought her easy-to-follow advice before their lavish 2018 wedding, as did Princess Eugenie for her big day in the same year (Peacock is professionally tight-lipped but does confirm she was a guest at both nuptials). On how the nutrition guru found herself dubbed "the royals' secret weapon," she says most people come to her via someone they know. http://instagram.com/p/CDEsiSunkLF "Word of mouth is amazing actually, I always underestimated it," says the former model. "Once you have one client who trusts you and thinks you have done a good job, suddenly within a year you are getting all these amazing people because they trust you too." After studying for over nine years (she had her eldest daughter in between doing two degrees), her lucky break came at a fashion party at which she got chatting to the Queen’s physician, Sir Tim Evans. "As a GP, he really believes in the holistic approach and he’s a fantastic doctor," she says.

Princess Beatrice's husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi has given a rare interview to the Financial Times, revealing some fascinating details about his personal food tastes. The property developer told the publication of his favourite foods, drinks and restaurants and the royal has extremely good taste. Edoardo said: "In my fridge you’ll always find a bottle of tequila [Casamigos Reposado] and smoked salmon. Why the tequila? Well, that’s obvious, but I always have salmon from Secret Smokehouse because it’s easy when you’ve been working all day and you just want to grab something healthy." The Casamigos tequila brand was founded by actor George Clooney and Rande Gerber, the husband of Cindy Crawford, and Princess Eugenie's husband Jack Brooksbank is the European Brand Manager for the spirit. In the article, the royal reveals he has 'a love affair with wine' and he trades and collects it. Edoardo says he mainly collects Bordeaux wines but is more of a Burgundy drinker. It seems the businessman is quite the foodie, explaining that his favourite room in his house is the kitchen and that he's "fallen in love with cooking again". He reveals that he and Beatrice have a small vegetable garden and cook according to the seasons.
