The search for a young Colorado mother who vanished on Thanksgiving Day is intensifying with local police enlisting help from law enforcement nationwide and worried loved ones asking for prayers that she be found safely.
Kelsey Berreth, 29, a pilot and the mother of a 1-year-old girl, was last seen at a Safeway supermarket on Thanksgiving near her home in Woodland Park, police said.
After she disappeared, Berreth's cell phone pinged in Gooding, Idaho, more than 700 miles from where she vanished, Cmdr. Chris Adams of the Woodland Park Police Department told ABC News' "Good Morning America" on Sunday.
"It makes us wonder what she's doing up there, or what the phone is, potentially, because she may not be there," Adams said.
Mystery surrounds a Colorado community where Kelsey Berreth, 29, went missing on Thanksgiving Day and has still not been located.
Investigators were back at the home of Kelsey Berreth Wednesday.
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation said it was a routine follow up by law enforcement. No new information was provided.
Berreth was last seen in public on Thanksgiving at a Woodland Park Safeway store. Her fiance, Patrick Frazee, told police he saw her later that afternoon when he picked up their daughter. She has not been seen since. Ten days later on Dec. 2, Berreth’s mother reported her missing.
The department said approximately 75 people were involved in the search of the Frazee property. A backhoe was also brought in to assist in the search. Following the search, the property was turned back over to the homeowner.
The Woodland Park Police Department will pay up to $25,000 for information that leads to the safe return of Kelsey Berreth. The family of missing Colorado mom Kelsey Berreth has spoken out for the first time since her fiancé was arrested and charged with murder on Friday.
JoDee Garretson, 50, from Washington, tells DailyMail.com she feels 'numb' after police announced her cousin, who disappeared nearly a month ago, may no longer be alive.
Kelsey, 29, was last seen on Thanksgiving Day entering a supermarket with her one-year-old daughter Kaylee, before allegedly dropping her off with fiancé Patrick Frazee later that day.
After weeks of speculation and a two-day search of his home, Frazee, 32, was taken into custody on Friday and charged with first-degree murder and solicitation of murder.
Authorities in Idaho are working in conjunction with Colorado and federal agencies to execute search warrants relating to the disappearance of Kelsey Berreth who is presumed dead.
According to Fox 31 Denver, a press release from the Twin Falls County Sheriff's Department says that their detectives are working with the Colorado Bureau of Investigations (CBI) and the FBI 'to prepare and serve several search warrants as well as processing some items of evidence with the assistance of Twin Falls County and Twin Falls City Evidence Technicians.'
'We are pleased our organizations were able to provide the assistance and support requested by the FBI, CBI, and the Woodland Park Police Department,' Sheriff Tom Carter and Police Chief Craig Kingsbury said in a joint statement.
Kelsey Berreth's family shared a shot of her with her one-year-old daughter with a graphic reading 'Always in our hearts,' on Sunday after her fiance, Patrick Frazee, was arrested Friday on suspicion of first-degree murder as well as solicitation of murder.
