The 30-year-old redheaded younger brother of Prince William anticipated hanging out with 100 women at a gala dinner to raise money for WellChild, a charity for sick children, as the Thursday event was hosted by the 100 Women in Hedge Funds. But when he was seated, he found himself sorted into a different group. "Thank you all very much for coming this evening. Um, I'm not entirely sure who made the seating plan, but I'm sitting between two men," he said in a speech, drawing laughs from the crowd, as seen in a video posted by U.K. news service ITN. " I thought it would just be 100 women and myself." "Anyway," he said. "It's great to see so many of you at this rather wonderful Harry Potter-esque setting, and there won't be any Quiddich." In addition to WellChild, Harry serves as a patron of several other charities, as do his brother, who is second in line to the throne, and his sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, aka Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge. "This hospital represents the importance of which society places on the care of those less fortunate than ourselves," Harry said during his speech, adding, "I'm incredibly proud to be patron of WellChild, the charity being championed by 100 Women in Hedge Funds U.K. this year. I'm also delighted to be patron of 100 Women in Hedge Funds philanthropic initiatives for this year also." "I hope that all of you here tonight are hugely proud of the support that you've given to WellChild," he said. "It really does change lives. But may I ask just more thing of you—when you leave here tonight, please continue to spread the word, far and wide, about this fantastic organization. 'Cause together, all of us can make a real difference for the children and for young people."

Prince Harry showed off his sporting prowess at a mini rugby festival today. Harry, a keen rugby union fan, took part in a training session for new rugby coaches before joining dozens of youngsters in a mini-tournament at Eccles RFC in Salford, Greater Manchester. The Royal visitor, 30, ran around the pitch passing and catching the ball and shouting encouragement to the youngsters playing touch rugby. Prince Harry is patron of England Rugby's All Schools Programme, developed by England Rugby to increase the amount of rugby played in state secondary schools, and to encourage new players to join local clubs. Harry arrived at the rugby club ready for action, rigged out in trainers, black waterproof jogging bottoms and casual England rugby T-shirt. He also met with student volunteers before helping them run a rugby festival for other younger children from the local area. The All Schools Programme is a project launched ahead of next year's Rugby World Cup, hosted by England, which supports state secondary schools over three years with kit and equipment, coaching, student volunteer training and links to a local club, to help them start and sustain playing rugby union.

Madame Tussauds in New York will today unveil the newest members of their royal waxwork collection: Prince Harry and Her Majesty the Queen. The pair will join the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as part of a 'royal set' which set to go on tour at the Madame Tussauds attractions across the world. The figures will be in New York through the end of the year. Prince Harry’s wax figure is dressed in a Dege & Skinner suit from Savile Row -- created by the actual tailor he uses for his uniforms, and he is adorned with medals: a set of three Court-Mounted full-size medals, three pairs of gilt and enamel Garter Stars, and one pair of Flying Wings. 'We hope the new royal set will be a hit with US visitors especially on the heels of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's exciting baby news. 'William and Kate have always been a favorite in the attraction and we're excited to expand our royal family, and have the new figures of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Harry alongside them. Madame Tussauds studio artists were invited to the Palace to obtain exact measurements, photos and detailed notes of the dress - which is embellished with approximately 10,000 Swarovski crystals and took over 60 hours to complete. Her jewelry is all handmade and includes the George IV State Diadem, the Garter Star, the Garter Badge, the insignia of the Royal Order of George V and George VI, and Colette necklace and earrings. Duchess Kate Middleton’s wax figure is styled after her look at the 2011 BAFTA Awards in a one-of-a-kind pale lilac Alexander McQueen gown. Prince William is in a double-breasted six button two-piece dinner suit specially made for Madame Tussauds by Gieves & Hawkes.

Prince Harry told a former Royal Marine to have a “well-deserved beer” after the double-amputee completed a gruelling charity run through London yesterday. Ben McBean, 27, was dubbed a “hero” by the royal after losing his left arm and right leg in a landmine blast in Afghanistan in 2008. Medics feared Ben from Plymouth, might die from his injuries but the former commando today finished a 31-mile run with his route creating the shape of a giant poppy on the city’s map. Harry, 30, embraced his former colleague yesterday after he crossed the finishing line at Tower Bridge in central London and Ben admitted the prince’s appearance came as a complete surprise. Speaking after the run, he said: “I’m still in shock. I didn’t expect to see Harry. “He said ‘well done’ and that I’d raised lots of awareness for a good cause. He told me to go have a bath and a well-deserved beer. It was just like picking up where we left off.” Ben said it was painful doing the run in his prosthetic limbs. He said: “I found it very difficult to get from A to B. The run was both physically and emotionally exhausting, but so rewarding.”

E! News can confirm the 30-year-old will represent the royal family during a mini-tour around the Middle East later this month. Beginning Nov. 18, Prince George's uncle will visit Oman and attend the National Day Parade as a guest of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said al Said. The celebration is a national holiday for the region in honor of Sultan's birthday. Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, last visited the area back in 2013 while the Queen made an appearance in 2010. Later in the day, Prince Harry will travel to Abu Dhabi to take part in the Sentebale Polo Cup at Ghantoot Racing and Polo Club. Unfortunately, no rugby matches are currently planned for this trip. Instead, the polo event will raise awareness and funds for vulnerable children in Lesotho who are in need of health care and education. Many are victims of extreme poverty or the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Further information about Prince Harry's visit will be released by Kensington Palace at a later date. Prince Harry, who was recently crowned Britain's favorite royal, continues to make charity work a priority wherever he travels. Just last month, the handsome royal joined Prince William to pay tribute to Princess Diana's charitable legacy. In honor of the 15th anniversary of the Diana Awards, which recognizes young people who have made a positive impact on society, the siblings wrote a forward for a book celebrating the organization's success. "We believe, when encouraged and supported, that young people have the ability to change society for the better," the siblings wrote. "We know that our mother—in whose memory this award was established—felt the same and would be proud of its achievements to date." Keep up the good work, Prince Harry! We're looking forward to your next trip.
