Prince Harry was seen laughing and joking with Pulp Fiction star Samuel L Jackson after showing off his equestrian skills at a polo match. The pair struck up an unlikely friendship in the VIP area at the glamorous Audi Polo Challenge at Coworth Park in Ascot - just one week after Harry met his niece Princess Charlotte for the first time. Wearing his white polo kit and riding boots, the fifth-in-line to the throne grinned as he shook hands with the actor on Saturday. The Shaft and Django Unchained star, who was wearing a bright red jacket, white trousers and chic round sunglasses, was then seen laughing with Harry in the sunshine. They were later seen chatting at the polo after party in a packed marquee. Prince Harry looked in good spirits as he galloped across the pitch, punching the air when he scored. He wore a green shirt emblazoned with the number one, symbolising his offence position. The 30-year-old jetted back from a tour of New Zealand and Australia in mid-May and showed off his gardening skills at the Chelsea Flower Show.

A royal affair! Queen Elizabeth II bestowed one major honor on her grandson Prince Harry on Thursday, June 4, when she knighted him in a private ceremony. The British monarch, 89, appointed the title of Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order to Prince Harry, 30. Buckingham Palace announced the celebratory news in a statement on Thursday morning, writing, "The Queen has been pleased to make the following appointment to the Royal Victorian Order: To be a Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order (KCVO), HRH Prince Henry of Wales." Insiders tell Us Weekly that the special moment took place in a private ceremony at Buckingham Palace. The KCVO is a particularly high honor for the redheaded royal, as it's the unique knighthood awarded by the Queen herself, as opposed to those decided by ministerial recommendation. The knighthood acknowledges Prince Harry's service to both the Queen personally and the greater United Kingdom. Prince William's younger brother has been celebrated for his committed military career, which is coming to a close this month. During his time with the armed forces, Harry has done two tours in Afghanistan and quickly rose in the military ranks. The uncle to Prince George and Princess Charlotte spoke recently about shifting his focus to his personal life, prioritizing his desire to start a family.

For the second time this year, when Cressida Bonas took the stage, ex-boyfriend Prince Harry was in the audience to support her. The royal – who was spotted getting touchy-feely with Doctor Who actress Jenna Coleman last weekend – slipped in a few minutes late to the Wednesday performance of Bonas's London play, An Evening With Lucian Freud, PEOPLE confirms. (It's the same play that has earned Bonas, 26, rave reviews.) Harry, 30, did roughly the same thing when he turned up in March to see Bonas in The Importance of Being Earnest.

Prince Harry arrived in style for the WellChild charity gala at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Tuesday. He looked sharp in a blue suit while waving to fans and photographers and posed for photos on the red carpet with none other than Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett, who performed during the event. The trio chatted it up before making their way inside, and Lady Gaga showed off her huge diamond engagement ring from fiancé Taylor Kinney. Prince Harry has been a patron of WellChild since 2007 — the charity aims to support children with serious illnesses and their families, and since signing on, Harry has met with numerous nurses, volunteers, and the children themselves. Harry and his family have been in the news quite a bit lately, what with his recent royal trips to Australia and New Zealand, and the birth of his niece, Princess Charlotte, in May (just last weekend, Charlotte's adorable first official portraits were released). Most recently, Harry made headlines when he reportedly cozied up to Jenna Coleman during a night out in London after the Audi Polo game; he was photographed resting his hand on a woman's knee, and the woman bore a resemblance to Jenna, who is known for her role on BBC's Doctor Who. Keep reading to see Harry's evening with Lady Gaga, and check out more celebrities who met the royal family members over the years.

She might be the bookies' favourite to one day marry Prince Harry but Chelsy Davy didn't appear to be missing him as she partied in London on Tuesday night. The Zimbabwe-born lawyer, 29, turned heads in loose-fitting navy blue and sky-high wedges as she arrived for the launch of the Relay Building, a luxury office space in East London's Aldgate. Glamorous though Miss Davy looked, she was almost upstaged on the night by Lady Mary Charteris who turned up to the event sporting a bizarre Batman style cloak. Mr Calthorpe, a businessman who moonlights as a DJ for musical collective Housekeeping, was there to support Taylor McWilliams. Texan Mr McWilliams is also part of Housekeeping but when not playing music, runs Hondo Enterprises - the company behind the new building. Many of the guests, among them Lady Mary and Mr Calthorpe, took to the decks while others, such as Steve Lazarides, the gallery owner who doubles as Banksy's agent, milled around quaffing champagne. Looking happy and carefree while out at a friends DJ set the other night, Chelsy Davy kept things casual in a simple navy sun dress, tan espadrille sandals and lots of gold jewellery. Chelsy's always been a fan of this laid back style of dressing and with her natural look and beach boho hair she pulls it off effortlessly.
