It looks as if Prince Harry plans to keep his sexy beard for the time being, even for church. The ginger prince appeared in the august precincts of St. Paul's Cathedral in London on Thursday to pay tribute to wartime bomb-disposal veterans. Harry attended a service to mark the 75th anniversary of the formation of the British Army bomb disposal units, formally known as the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD). The troops who dealt with the delicate task of disarming tens of thousands of unexploded bombs during WWII, and later in conflicts in Northern Ireland, Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan, saved thousands of lives, according to Kensington Palace. And many lost their own lives in the process.

Prince Harry has met US First Lady Michelle Obama during a visit to the US to promote the Invictus Games. He joined Mrs Obama to meet injured service personnel in Virginia, and is set to meet Games organisers at the British ambassador's residence in Washington DC. The prince will then meet President Obama in the Oval Office of the White House for an informal chat. Prince Harry and the first lady were joined by Jill Biden, the US vice-president's wife, for a tour of the purpose-built United Service Organizations Warrior and Family Center at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, which supports troops, their families and carers. They joined an art therapy class for veterans then visited a music therapy room. They also watched a sports event before giving speeches.

It’s official: Even Michelle Obama thinks Prince Harry is hot. The handsome royal — who is sporting a solid amount of sexy scruff these days — is currently visiting Washington, D.C., and joined the first lady and Dr. Jill Biden for a tour of the USO Warrior and Family Center at the Fort Belvoir military base in Fairfax County, Virginia, on Wednesday, Oct. 28. Their visit marked the announcement of the 2016 Invictus Games and an opportunity for the royal, 31, to meet wounded servicemen and women at the state-of-the-art rehab facility on the army base. After Obama’s wife’s speech, the first lady acknowledged Prince William’s single younger brother, telling a roomful of women: “All right, ladies, Prince Harry is here. Don't act like you don't notice!”

The young prince is said to be dreading "becoming the new Prince Andrew" - who married someone inappropriate and brought the Royal family into disrepute. But with two well-publicised and failed romances under his belt, Harry, 31, looks no closer to securing married bliss like his elder brother William. A close source to the family said: "Harry’s desire to settle down, have his own family and be like his brother is quite a strong one. "He wants to have some kids and get a dog and be ordinary. He just doesn’t know how to achieve it." Harry's single status has attracted so much attention that he has never been described as a lonely "Bridget Jones" figure. It follows two failed romances with Zimbabwean lawyer Chelsy Davy and budding actress Cressida Bonas, who both rejected the royal spotlight.

An emotional Harry embraced wounded U.S. Marine Kirstie Ennis at Buckingham Palace on Sunday as she handed him a final poignant memento of a lost colleague at the end of a marathon trek around Britain. Harry, 31, welcomed Ennis, 24 – who was severely injured in a 2012 helicopter crash in Afghanistan – and her five fellow walkers at the triumphant end of their 1,000-mile journey through the country. Ennis, who was due to have her left leg amputated below the knee this summer but put it off so that she could come to the U.K. and undertake the charity walk, used the moment to offer Harry a treasured dog tag. She had left 24 other dog tags around the U.K. during the walk made with fellow U.S. Marine Andrew Bement and four British ex-servicemen.
