Police were on Tuesday investigating the death of model and TV personality Peaches Geldof, the 25-year-old daughter of Irish musician and Live Aid organizer Bob Geldof and TV presenter Paula Yates. Geldof, who was just 11 when her mother died, was found at her home in Wrotham, Kent, southeast of London, on Monday. Officers were called "following a report of concern for the welfare of a woman," a force spokesman told the Press Association. In a statement Kent police said that a post-mortem examination would be carried out in the next few days. "At this stage, the death is being treated as an unexplained and sudden death," Kent police said. "Officers are working to establish the circumstances around the death." Bob Geldof said the family was "beyond pain." "What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable? We loved her and will cherish her forever," he wrote in a statement. The death came as a shock to Britain's entertainment and fashion circles. She was a frequent attendee at fashion shows in London and New York, and was photographed just last week at a London show for the Tesco brand F&F. The mother of two was a prolific poster on Twitter. Her last message Sunday included a photo of her as a child with her mother, captioned " Me and my mum." "My beloved wife Peaches was adored by myself and her two sons Astala and Phaedra and I shall bring them up with their mother in their hearts every day," husband Tom Cohen said in a statement. "We shall love her forever." She hosted the show "OMG! Totally Peaches" on Britain's ITV channel starting in 2011. The live show was based on Geldof and a panel helping viewers find solutions to their problems.

Peaches Geldof's haunting final column for Mother & Baby magazine - written just weeks before her tragic death on Monday - has been published, with her claiming she was 'happier than ever' bringing up her two sons Astala and Phaedra. In the 25-year-old's first, and unfortunately last, piece for the magazine she wrote of her new 'perfect life' with husband Thomas Cohen and children; claiming 'being a mum is the best part.' In her column Peaches explained how her life had changed since having a family, writing: 'With fun-loving friends from Los Angeles to London, I was lost in a haze of youth and no responsibilities… But it was becoming boring. I wanted an anchor – I craved it. And when I had two wailing, smiling, joyful little blobs of waddling pink flesh, they became my entire existence and saved me from one of pure apathy. 'However this new earth-mother me came with an unexpected consequence – I found myself friendless. My five closest friends were understanding… but many others revealed themselves to be of the fair-weather variety. Once I couldn’t go out…they didn’t want to know. The idea that I didn’t want a nanny didn’t seem to register, nor that doing night-feeds and waking up at 6am doesn’t factor in well with a wine-soaked dinner... And no-one seemed to want to ask me about my babies, when I wanted to gush endlessly about them. It hurt me. I felt alienated and abandoned. Had I made a mistake?' She continued: '[Then one day her children came in giggling and kissing her]. Phaedy gave me a wet kiss and both collapsed giggling into my arms, looking at me with pure love. In that magic moment, all my doubts were erased. Everything else was nothingness and it just…didn’t matter. I had the perfect life… It was and is bliss. 'Now, with a new-found group of mates, both locally and online – all the exact same struggles and issues, and who don’t question if my child flings food at their hair or care if there’s a screaming fit in the middle of the street – I’m happier than ever. I’ve achieved a sort of perfect balance. Right now life is good. And being a mum is the best part of it.'

Just over one week after the 25-year-old British socialite was found dead at home with their 11-month-old son Phaedra, Cohen, Phaedra and their other son Astala have yet to return to the Kent house. "Tom in completely devastated and simply can't bear the thought of going back to the house," a source tells Hello. "He and her two sons have been staying with his parents since the tragedy and he doesn't want to return home—certainly not at the moment anyway." Cohen's state of sadness is no surprise since it's only been eight days since her unexpected passing. On the day of Geldof's passing, Cohen released a statement, saying, "My beloved wife Peaches was adored by myself and her two sons Astala and Phaedra and I shall bring them up with their mother in their hearts everyday. We shall love her forever." Geldof and Cohen would have celebrated their second wedding anniversary in September. Cohen isn't the only family member mourning. Geldof's father, famed musician Bob Geldof, said after her passing last week, "We are beyond pain. She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us. Writing 'was' destroys me afresh. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable? We loved her and will cherish her forever. How sad that sentence is. Tom and her sons Astala and Phaedra will always belong in our family, fractured so often, but never broken."

A new report claims Peaches Geldof died of a heroin overdose. The 25-year-old mom-of-two was found unresponsive in her Kent, England home last month and was later pronounced dead. At the time, her death was considered "non-suspicious" by police. Results of the toxicology reports are expected to be released today, and according to the U.K. paper The Times, the young mom died from a drug overdose. In a tragic coincidence, Peaches' mother Paula Yates also died from an accidental heroin overdose in 2000, when she was just 41 years old. Peaches, whose father is British rocker Sir Bob Geldof, was apparently looking after her 11-month-old son Phaedra at the time of her death. The Times also claims that since no evidence of drugs or drug paraphernalia were found in her home, items may have been removed before police arrived. The funeral took place last month at the same church where Geldof's mother's funeral was held in 2000 The British model, journalist and TV presenter had a history of drug use. In 2008, she suffered an overdose, and reportedly stopped breathing before being revived by paramedics. She embarked on a media career at the age of 15, writing a column for Elle Magazine and the Daily Telegraph. She went on to front TV programmes such as ITV2's OMG! with Peaches Geldof. Celebrities including Kate Moss, Nick Grimshaw and Rolling Stone Bill Wyman attended her funeral on 21 April. Her final tweet, the day before her death, was a picture of her as a child in her mother's arms, with the message: "Me and my mum." The day before her death, Geldof tweeted a picture of her as a child with her mother, Paula Yates

One day after it was revealed that Peaches Geldof's tragic death was likely due to an accidental heroin overdose, British authorities announced they are now investigating the source of the late 25-year-old's drug supply. A Kent police spokesperson told media on Friday they "can confirm an ongoing investigation into the supply of drugs in connection with the death of Peaches Geldof," according to THR. "There have been no arrests at this stage." On Thursday, it was confirmed that drugs played a part in her shocking and untimely death. "Recent use of heroin and the levels identified were likely to have played a role in her death," Detective Chief Inspector Paul Fotheringham of the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate said in a hearing. Geldof was discovered dead in her Kent home on Monday, Apr. 7. She was home alone with her 11-month-old son Phaedra. Geldof is survived by husband Thomas Cohen, Phaedra and their other son Astala. At the time of her death, Cohen released a heartbreaking statement, saying, "My beloved wife Peaches was adored by myself and her two sons Astala and Phaedra and I shall bring them up with their mother in their hearts everyday. We shall love her forever."
