Ariana Grande's "Thank U, Next" leads the Billboard Hot 100 (dated Dec. 22) for a fifth week, holding off Halsey's "Without Me," which rises to No. 2.
Meanwhile, Mariah Carey's 1994 holiday classic "All I Want for Christmas Is You" pushes 7-6 for a new Hot 100 peak, becoming the highest-charting holiday season-themed hit in, amazingly, 60 years.

Jimmy Fallon has an early Christmas gift for you. (Ariana Grande’s small enough to fit in your stocking, right?) On Tuesday’s Tonight Show, Fallon reunited with his former SNL castmates Tracy Morgan, Chris Kattan and Horatio Santz for an encore performance of “I Wish It Was Christmas Today,” the same holiday tune the quartet first played together on a 2000 episode of SNL. (The original tune was later covered by The Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas.) This time, they get an assist from Grande — although, disappointingly, she doesn’t sing at all in the clip. She just stands behind Kattan with her hands on his shoulders and dances, adding to the low-key hipster vibe of it all. Just like in the original, Sanz sings the lead vocals, Fallon bashes away on an electric keyboard, Kattan flashes a slightly unsettling smile and everybody dances around like a doofus. Plus, the matching ugly red Christmas sweaters are a nice touch.

Ariana Grande has given us all another early Christmas gift this December by announcing her 2019 tour dates. If ‘thank u next’ wasn’t enough to get you through the winter, Ari then went and blew our minds with a 90s inspired music video before dropping emotional new track Imagine. And over the weekend, Ariana finally shared the dates for the European leg of her upcoming Sweetener tour next summer, and fans - naturally - had an absolute meltdown over on Twitter.

Billboard's Woman of the Year seems to be wrapping up her 2018 with a bit of nostalgia. On Saturday afternoon (Dec. 22), Ariana Grande took to Twitter to share a few childhood memories. Grande posted two videos of her as a young girl singing with family in the back of a car. In the first video, which she captioned "what else would you like to sing? the next song," the young singer belts along before instructing her brother to "put it from the beginning, Frankie."

The singer took to Instagram to apologize to her fans, who had paid more than $1,000 for the privilege of seeing her at her first appearance since breaking up with comedian Pete Davidson in October. Tickets for the performance will be refunded, and no makeup dates have been determined. “Vegas, I’m currently working through some health issues and am beyond sorry I won’t be able to see you this weekend,” she wrote. “I love you and so look forward to seeing you and making it up to you next year.” http://instagram.com/p/Br82VHEhaGP “Love you the most,” she added. “You’re so funny sometimes man. Thank you for your patience. I will make it worth the wait.”
