With her immaculately curled tresses, pearl earrings and stylish choice of hat, Georgia Love could have been mistaken for Kate Middleton earlier this month. The new Bachelorette looked as though she was trying to keep a low profile as she made her way through Gold Coast Airport. But her oversize sunglasses only served to highlight the similarities between the stunning pair.

Prince William paid a visit to the Rhineland city of Düsseldorf on Wednesday to celebrate the state of North Rhine-Westphalia's 70th birthday. Here's a look at his royal stay. Prince William's visit caused quite a stir as hundreds of Düsseldorfers stood in the "blazing heat" for more than two hours to get a glimpse of the Duke of Cambridge on Tuesday, the Rheinische Post reported. His Royal Highness was in town to celebrate 70 years since the British military founded the state of North Rhine-Westphalia on August 23rd 1946 while Allied forces occupied Germany after the Second World War. During his visit, William schmoozed with British soldiers, state Minister President Hannelore Kraft and got chummy with Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Prince William was put on the spot when a woman asked him for Prince Harry's phone number. The 34-year-old royal was on an official visit in Luton, when he was approached by Trish Cruse, 57, who asked for his brother's mobile number for her 27-year-old single daughter, Olivia. But William, who was with wife Duchess Catherine, to present Hayward Tyler with the Queen's Award for Enterprise for their success in international trade, burst out laughing and replied, "Oh no! Duchess Kate has a new sous chef. The Duchess of Cambridge, 34, revealed during a visit with teens at the Youthscape project in Luton, England, on Wednesday, August 24, that her son, Prince George, makes quite the mess in the kitchen. The royal made the comment after inquiring about what the teens were baking in the kitchen at the facility, which specializes in young adults’ social, emotional and spiritual development. "So, what are you making? This smells seriously good," Duchess Kate, clad in a blue and white L.K. Bennett dress, asked about their chocolate rice crispy creation. "What are you putting in? Is this just chocolate? Golden syrup? Good, good."

More than half of Britons want Prince William to be the next King of England instead of Prince Charles. According to a recent poll, 54 per cent want the accession to skip a generation when the Queen passes away, with Prince William taking the throne in place of his father. Even more women favour the 34-year-old to become the next monarch, with 60 per cent of women backing William, compared with 47 per cent of men. The poll by Opinium research found that a mere 25 per cent could see the Prince of Wales, who will succeed the Queen, as the future king. The question of whether the British monarchy should continue was also considered, but with two-thirds of people polled wanting to preserve the institution, the Queen and her successor have nothing to worry about.
