That latest move to the U.S. meant the couple also needed a new house. And rather than go for a cute starter home the pair have moved into a mega-mansion— rent-free. http://instagram.com/p/aE1yjpuwEs According to multiple reports, the couple has been living in a 22-acre estate in Los Angeles owned by Tyler Perry, the actor, director, and producer behind many hit films including the entire Madea franchise. Though Harry and Meghan have yet to confirm the rumors, or show off any real details of the house themselves, a look at Perry’s social media accounts gives everyone a little glimpse at the lavish luxury the former royals are now living in. http://instagram.com/p/s8Go1euwG_ As Elle noted, in 2013, Perry shared this gorgeous snapshot from the back deck of the home, which included sweeping views of the natural landscape below. A year later, Perry shared another photo from inside the house, this time sharing a few of the home’s study, which is decked out in gorgeous woodworkings from the desk straight up to the walls. http://instagram.com/p/YIQt2tuwCs

As royal nerds will know, a new biography about Meghan Markle and Prince Harry is set to hit shelves on August 11. And what makes this book different from other things written about your fave royals is that, according to the book's publisher, it was written "with the participation of those closest to the couple," meaning that it will include major tea.
And thankfully for those of us with absolutely no patience, some insider intel from the biography is already being leaked. Just yesterday, a ~publishing insider~ talked to The Sun about the book's contents, sharing how Harry felt about the reaction to him and Meghan leaving the royal family. Apparently, he was pretty upset by how people attributed the decision to Meghan, with the insider sharing, "That word ‘Megxit’ in particular has always angered Prince Harry. It gives the impression that the decision to walk away from the Royal Family was Meghan’s." The source also adds:
The reality is Harry drove that decision. The book will make that clear and explain why it had to happen. The truth is Harry had been unhappy for a long, long time. He wanted to move in the direction that they did and had been considering it for more than a year.
Meghan supported Harry’s decision. But there was more than one occasion where she asked him if he was certain it was what he wanted. And she always made it clear she would support him in whatever he did.
So make a mental note: Leaving the royal family was Harry's idea, and if you even meet him, don't use the term 'Megxit'!

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's royal exit was reportedly his idea all along. Despite the term "Megxit" making headlines in the wake of the Sussexes' bombshell decision to step away from the monarchy, Harry is said to have been the longtime mastermind, not his wife – and the explosive new book "Finding Freedom" is expected to set the record straight. A source described as a "publishing insider" told The Sun that the anticipated biography will detail Harry's anger about the misconception that Meghan steered him away from his family and duties when he had actually been unhappy "for a long, long time."
Markle, 38, began to fear the palace’s courtiers were out to harm her reputation due to her American style of management once the couple moved into Frogmore Cottage.
“She was convinced there was a conspiracy against her and so she basically put herself in self isolation when they moved to Frogmore,” a friend told The Sunday Times.
“I think she felt like an outsider from the start. This wasn’t the life she was used to and she wanted out.”
She also began to feel isolated and missed her mom and friends in LA. One friend told The Sunday Times that Meghan’s financial independence was a driving force behind her and Harry’s decision to leave the royals and flee the UK for sunny California.

Kensington Palace made a rare move by firing back against a tabloid article that claimed Kate Middleton is "furious" about her increased workload after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry stepped down as senior members of the royal family on March 31. The palace released a statement about the recent cover story in Tatler dubbed, "Catherine the great."
"This story contains a swathe of inaccuracies and false misrepresentations which were not put to Kensington palace prior to publication," a palace spokesperson said in a statement.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are currently settling into their new life in Los Angeles with one-year-old Archie, but as they stepped back from royal duties in March, it was understood that the couple would be back in the UK regularly. Although it was never confirmed, it seems likely that Prince Harry and Meghan would have flown back to the UK this week for Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi's wedding, which was scheduled to take place on 29 May. The bride and groom-to-be have had to postpone their nuptials at the Chapel Royal in St James's Palace because of the coronavirus pandemic. Buckingham Palace is yet to announce the new date for the forthcoming royal wedding. Prince Harry has always been close to his cousins, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, since childhood. He and Meghan attended Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's big day at St George's Chapel, Windsor, in October 2018, days before heading off on their first major royal tour. Beatrice and Eugenie were also guests at Harry and Meghan's wedding in May that same year. Archie is likely to have flown back to the UK with his parents, although having only just turned one earlier in May, he might have been too young to have had a starring role in the bridal party. His cousin, Prince Louis, is also still to make his debut as a pageboy, whereas Louis' older siblings, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, have had plenty of practice already at the weddings of Pippa Middleton and James Matthews, Harry and Meghan, Eugenie and Jack, as well as Kate's close friend, Sophie Carter. The Sussexes marked their second wedding anniversary on 19 May with a special date night meal, consisting of Mexican food and margaritas. Harry and Meghan also reportedly exchanged cotton-based gifts per tradition in their current home – a £15 million mansion, owned by actor Tyler Perry in the Beverly Ridge Estate of LA.
