Disney Channel is really making a comeback. First Vanessa Hudgens good name was dragged through Twitter like a dirty napkin, and now Demi Lovato is live chatting with Miley Cyrus about body image, and beauty standards.
The latter of these situations is definitely more positive, and turned out to be a sweet moment that everyone should go and watch to fulfill your nostalgic fix. Honestly, fans will end up learning a little more about your favorite stars. It’s actually refreshing to see these two mega artists so lounged out and casual in their tones almost as if they are real “people”.
While we’re all trying our best to stay home and self-quarantine, celebs and entertainers are putting out live content to help the population find solace in the trying times. Singer Miley Cyrus decided to launch her very own Instagram show called Bright Minded: Live with Miley in which she aims to connect with people in order to bring light to dark times. Amid the coronavirus pandemic, which has forced people into isolation, Cyrus launched a new Instagram talk show, Bright Minded: Live With Miley, to keep her fans entertained.
During the week of March 15, she invited Lovato on the show and had a wide-ranging chat with the singer. They discussed everything from their past on The Disney Channel to their longlasting friendship.
“You’ve always been a light in my life and that’s why we connected at 14,” Lovato told Cyrus at one point in the conversation (via StyleCaster). “I had a f*cking gap in my tooth. And we still connected then because we just saw something in each other.”
Some people are convinced something happened Fans almost immediately rushed to other social media platforms such as Twitter to react to the comments.
“finding out that miley cyrus and demi lovato used to hook up is the best piece of news i’ve ever heard,” one person tweeted.
“When Demi was talking about their relationship/friendship when they were younger and stuff saying that they had such a bond and Miley just said ‘also we were gay af’ I lost it,” commented another.
While the two have yet to address these rumors, it seems likely that Cyrus meant that they are so close because they bonded over their sexuality — not because they had hooked up or anything of that nature. (Cyrus identifies as queer and Lovato is fluid.) But then again, who knows?

Miley Cyrus has been doing her part to keep her fans' and followers' spirits up as they practice social distancing with her new Instagram Live show, Bright Minded. Now, she's taken things one step further by releasing a theme song for the series.]
"If you wanna be bright minded, there's just one place to go," Miley sings on the trippy, retro track, which she appears to have written, produced, and recorded herself. "When you're stuck at home and the time is ticking slow, Monday through Friday live with Miley on my Instagram show! On my Instagram show!" She continues, even adding a little run in the final "show" before ending the tune with a quick "Stay lit everybody!" The theme song is a little cheesy, a little catchy, and a lot surreal, and it definitely features Miley's signature hippie vibe. The track joins JoJo's re-imagined "Leave (Get Out)" — fittingly re-titled, "Chill (Stay In)" — as some of the first coronavirus-themed pop songs created during this chaotic time.
Since the show dropped, Miley has visited with celebrity guests including Hailey Bieber, with whom she spoke about sexuality and spirituality; Demi Lovato, who discussed anxiety and body image; and her Hannah Montana costar Emily Osment, who took a trip down memory lane and shared some sweet secrets from their Disney Channel days.
Miley's been doing a great job as the one-woman show behind Bright Minded, and we're really hoping she keeps it up post-social distancing. Is a full-on talk show in Miley's future? She's got the interview skills, and can even write a killer theme song. NBC, Quibi, Netflix ... we hope you're paying attention to Bright Minded.
