Linda Parsons still hopes that one day she will get the answer to the question that has haunted her for more than two decades: Where are her daughter Andrea’s remains? But Parsons believes that finding that answer will become more difficult with one of the men found responsible for Andrea’s 1993 disappearance set to be released from state prison Thursday. Chester Duane Price, 47, will leave the Dade Correctional Institution, less than four years after receiving a 10-year sentence following his plea of no contest to charges of manslaughter and kidnapping. He will be released without further supervision, according to the Florida Department of Corrections.

Detectives investigating the disappearance of Corrie McKeague have released images of four men who came into contact with the RAF gunner on the night he went missing. In July, police ended a five-month search of a landfill site for the serviceman - who was 23-years-old when he vanished after a night out in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, on 24 September last year. Sunday marks a year to the day since he disappeared and Suffolk Police has released CCTV images of four men who had a "brief interaction" with Mr McKeague before they entered Flex nightclub. The force said the men are not key witnesses and are not being treated as suspects, but may have information "that may help understand what happened" to the RAF gunner.

An 8-year-old girl whose Friday disappearance from a Mesa school spurred a 17-hour search had apparently embarked on a solo urban-camping trip, police said. The search drew approximately 125 trained investigators and teams of volunteers from across the Valley to the quiet Mesa neighborhood overnight. At 7:25 a.m. Saturday, Mesa police announced that Leilani Miller had been located and was safe. On Friday, searchers staged at Hawthorne Elementary School and canvassed the community, going door to door and reviewing security-camera footage, fearing for the girl's safety as day turned to night and night turned to morning. Leilani, it turned out, spent the night at an improvised campsite in a grown-over area about a block from the school, Mesa police spokesman Steve Berry told The Arizona Republic. She went prepared, packing a bottle of water and extra granola bars from her friend, who backed out of the adventure at the last minute.

A Minnesota man who helped a missing teenager, gave the reward money he was gifted back to the girl, who was held captive by three men for nearly a month. Earl Melchert, 65, was presented with a $7,000 reward check on Friday. Alexandria Police Chief Richard Wyffels held a news conference to present Melchert with the check, but when the chief handed him the check, he turned and gave it to Jasmine. "What no one expected was the kindness and generosity that came straight from Earl’s heart today," Chief Wyffels wrote in a post on the department's Facebook page. Jasmine Block went missing from her family's home in Alexandria, Minn., on Aug. 8. Police said Thomas Barker, 32, of Carlos, Minn., lured Jasmine from her home by asking for help. Barker, who was a family acquaintance, then drove her to his home, restrained her with zip ties and along with two other men "repeatedly assaulted her" for weeks.
