A post-mortem has revealed that British backpacker Amelia Bambridge died by accidental drowning, Cambodian officials confirm, after her body was discovered at sea. The 21-year-old from Worthing in West Sussex went missing on 24 October after attending a party at Police Beach on the Cambodian island of Koh Rong. Amelia was last seen around 3:30am, but the alarm was raised when she failed to return to the Nest Beach Club hostel, 40 minutes away. Amelia's bag was found near the beach containing her phone, bank cards and watch, which caused further concern. After being missing for almost a week, Amelia's body was found at sea, 30 miles off the island of Koh Rong where she was staying. Her body was taken to Sihanoukville on the Cambodian mainland for a post-mortem, which has now confirmed her cause of death as drowning.

As the frantic search for a missing 25-year-old township woman continued for a sixth day, a family friend launched a fundraising campaign to benefit the missing woman's family. Stephanie Parze disappeared Oct. 30 after returning from an outing with friends to a psychic medium in New Brunswick, her family has said. Township police and the Monmouth County County Prosecutor's Office have launched an intensive effort to find her. Family friend David Mound started a GoFundMe campaign late Monday to support Parze's family during the search. The campaign raised nearly $2,400 in less than 24 hours.
