Stuttgart Police Chief Mark Duke on Friday said that a woman shown in a viral TikTok video is not missing Arkansas girl Cassie Compton. Duke said the FBI interviewed the woman and confirmed her identity. The woman also posted a video on Instagram saying that she doesn't know who Compton is. The woman's resemblance to Compton, who disappeared in 2014, ignited new interest in the case. Stuttgart police received dozens of phone calls and the video was shared thousands of times on Facebook. It also caught the attention of a private investigator who has been searching for Compton for years. The video shows the woman sitting in the backseat of a car with two men. She has dark circles under her eyes. The woman stares silently at the camera with her head tilted as the men speak to each other. Compton was 15 years old when she went missing. Her mother Judy Compton has said she suspects foul play. Duke said in an interview in 2019 that police had not ruled out any suspects in the case. No charges have been filed in her disappearance.
