Bailey A. Cederblom, 13, left her home in northeast Spokane sometime between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. Thursday morning, police say. Cederblom, about 5-foot-8 and 125 pounds with long brown hair, recently underwent a medical procedure and left her medicine behind, according to a Spokane Police Department news release. Cederblom’s mother saw her around 2 a.m. Her friends told police that she’d talked about meeting with someone unknown to them at either a park or Longfellow Elementary School, the release said. She may be wearing a white beanie and gray sweatshirt. Police ask anyone who knows Cederblom’s whereabouts or who has seen her in the past 12 hours to call Crime Check at (509) 456-2233.

An Amber Alert has been canceled after a 12-year-old girl missing out of Henry County, Virginia was found safe in Henderson on Saturday evening. The alert was initially issued Friday night. Virginia State Police said Allie was abducted around 1 p.m. by Kaleb Merritt, a Texas man who is now in custody. Allie was found safe and checked by EMS for minor injuries. Merritt was also found and taken into custody. On Feb. 11, a social media messaging app filed a complaint to the Southwestern Virginia Internet Crimes against Children task force regarding messages between the 12-year-old girl and 21-year-old man. According to the Henry County Sheriff's Office, Merritt met Broadaway on Instagram in December and communicated with her until traveling to Virginia in February to meet her. Upon forensic analysis of Merritt's electronics, it was discovered that Merritt set up a camp in a wooded area behind Allie Broadaway's home and met with her on several occasions. Merritt communicated with Allie via a messaging app and instructed her to leave her home. It is believed that Merritt picked her up and she has not been seen since. Anyone with information on the abduction is asked to contact the Henry County Sheriff's Office at (276) 638-8751.

A TikToker who was hoping to learn a little more about her ancestry took a DNA test, but she ended up with more questions than answers. “I’m sure it’s just a mistake … help?” TikTok user lyddelle_, whose real name is Lydia Ellen, captioned her post, which now has more than 6 million views. She explained that after she took the DNA test, it connected her with relatives from around the world — but when she plugged in her birth date, the website told her that there was no one named Lydia Ellen born that day. From there, she searched her home for her medical records and found papers that suggested she received her first vaccination at 18 months old in July 1997. Just one problem, though — as far as she knows, she wasn’t born until May 1998. Her medical records suggested she was born in November 1995, which would make her three years older than she thought she was. “Surely it’s just a mistake,” Ellen said in the video. In a follow-up video, she shared screenshots proving what she found in her records. She also said that when she confronted her parents about the date on her vaccine records, her mom said “it was an innocent mistake.” She assured commenters that her parents were not lying, either. In a fourth video, Ellen explained that she wasn’t showing up as a person in this genealogy website’s system because there weren’t enough records of her own existence because she hadn’t gotten married yet. She also said all of her other medical records had what appears to be the correct date on them. She turned off the comments on her posts, saying she was “overwhelmed” by the negative feedback she received. “It does still seem a little bit weird,” she admitted.

A community search party is being organized for a missing Davidson County girl on Saturday. Friends, family, and community members are coming together to look for 14-year-old Savannah Childress, who is the subject of an Amber Alert. The group will meet at 9 a.m. at Denton Wesleyan Church. Davidson County Sheriff's Office issued a release on Friday, saying they are continuing to search for Savannah, who has been missing from her home in Denton since Thursday, Feb. 11. Investigators believe Savannah could be in the hands of a sexual predator after they found explicit online messages between her and an unidentified person. Detectives say the conversations included "grooming" techniques and practices, commonly utilized by sexual predators. Savannah's parents spoke to WFMY News 2 on Wednesday. They are pleading for their daughter's safe return. "I am just heartbroken, I miss my baby," said Nicole Childress, Savannah's mother.
